I found Arapahoe Acres Nursery to have a large selection of flowers, bushes and trees. They have quality plants, but their prices are quite a bit higher than other local nurseries. If you are looking for a specialty plant, I would check them out, but be prepared to pay a bit more for what you are looking for. If you are looking for something more common, I would recommend checking with other local nurseries and the nurseries at some of the larger home improvement stores. The do have good prices on paving stones if you are looking to create a walkway in your yard.

If you go here on the weekends, prepare for a bit of a wait and difficulty finding anyone to help you, should you need help. However, if you can make it there during the week, they’ve always been much less busy in my experience. Their prices are a little higher than those at chain stores, but the plants are in much better shape. They also have a very good selection, everything from annuals to trees. Very nice place.

The average joe gardener can find just about everything they are looking for at Arapahoe Acres. The plants, shrubs, and trees that I have purchased in summers past have always thrived well despite my best efforts to kill them. It is a busy garden center so it is sometimes hard to find someone to give you one on one attention. This may be correlated to my going only on busy weekends along with everyone else. Pricier than Home Depot, etc. but healthier plants in my opinion.

This nursery has such a great selection of beautiful plants and flowers. You could easily find whatever you need to landscape a new yard or redesign an old one. The staff there is extremely helpful and they do their best to get just the right plants for your needs and for your environment. The prices are relatively comparable to a privately owned nursey and it is well worth it to me. Great quality!!

Going to a nursery may be a little intimidating, but the staff at Arapahoe acres does its best to make you feel comfortable and knowledgeable. Yes, you do pay more than you would at the local Home Depot, but it is worth your money to spend a little more to get some beautiful flowers and landscaping materials. Arapahoe Acres has everything you could possible want to landscape your yard. Their staff can help you design your project and get the right trees, plants and shrubs to complete it!
