John Holly's is mine and my boyfriends absolute favorite restaurant. I seriously mistrust the validity of other poor reviews as we have never received anything but great service and delicious food, perfectly seasoned and prepared beautifully. Everything is so fresh and delicious!!! John Holly's has some of the best chefs out there. We know that any time we go we can pick anything on the menu and and it will be delicious. Not only is the food fantastic, but the prices are very reasonable. And the portions are HUGE, making the value even better. Every time we eat there, we leave with leftovers from each dish which often leaves us with 1 or 2 more meals. They also have a very good wine selection. We have never done delivery or take out with John Holly's so I can't comment on the portions with that service. We we always highly recommend John Holly's and continue to be satisfied customers. We're actually taking some friends and family there tonight! We love you John Holly's!!! Pros: delicious, fresh food. Always impressed with the food! I read some of the "bad" reviews below, and it is clear to me that this "customer" is being very dishonest because the claims are absolutely far from the truth. We frequent John Holly's for their great food, excellent service, friendliness, fun atmosphere and good prices. Our favorite appetizers are the steamed chicken/beef roll, baked mussels with dynamite sauce, tempura dishes and gyoza. As for sushi, we typically order spicy salmon handroll, unagi sushi, soft shell crab roll and aji sashimi. Some of our favorites off the main menu are orange peel beef and yushan pork. The manager remembers the customers, and the service is wonderful. If you want to see huge smile on your way out - say hello to Ping. He's one of the sushi chefs at the sushi bar. He usually wears a baseball cap with "Ping" on it. Pros: variety in menu, good food, great service Cons: wait on weekend nights, can be noisy

I have met several friends there and when I am in the Lone Tree area and want some great chinese or sushi, that is where I go. With the other reviews about bad service and this and that, you can't expect every restaurant to be perfect in every shape or form. I have been going there for a while, before I moved out to Parker, and have had no complaints about it. The service can be a little slow at times, but why in a rush to eat? If your in a rush to eat, go eat fast food through the drive thru window. Their sushi is excellent, surprisingly, especially during happy hour. I've been back many times as well. Pros: Service, time to wait for a table Cons: Can be expensive

My friends and I had a very pleasant experience dinning in this restuarant last night, We did not know what to order from the menu since this is the first time eating there, so the waiter recommened a few dishes, we finished 99% of the food that we ordered with smiles on everyone's face. Great taste, very healthy food, fresh sushi, polite people around. Will eat there again with my sons on the weekend. Pros: Very clean place
