Wow! I moved from Denver and then back again and was VERY sad to see that Magia has closed. I know at first they had a tough time "getting things right" but they accomplished that and then some the longer they were in business. I just think they were ahead of the times and most folks unfortunately were not familiar with the tapas concept. Too bad, especially in these tough economic times where small plates and portions are now in demand. It also was a great place to party! They had some of the best music groups in on Fridays and Saturdays. I will especially miss that. It's very difficult to find a nice place to gather, have some great food and wine, listen to some great music and chill out. There was no place else like it in the nearby surrounding area. Now where do I go without having to go all the way downtown?

We LOVE Sushi Basho. We make it a point to go there at least once a month. They have $1 sushi pieces all the time, thier fish is fresh, the staff is friendly and the service is fast. Honeslty I have never ordered off of the entree' menu as I only go there for the sushi but I have also never wanted to eat anything but the sushi. They have a huge variety of special rolls and we have yet to eat something we didn't like.
Pros: Service, Food Quality, Price
Cons: None!

If you have a big appetite, Claim Jumper is the place to eat. They have the largest portion sizes that I’ve ever seen!! Their menu has a wide variety of tasty dishes, from burgers to steaks to pasta, and even a pretty good jambalaya. Be sure to save at least a little room for dessert – they have an excellent chocolate cake – but beware – the chocolate cake is also huge!! You will have plenty of leftovers to take home.

Beau Jo’s Pizza is some of the best pizza you can find in Colorado. While this location does not have the same great atmosphere as the Idaho Springs location, you will find the same legendary pizza. They have an amazing selection of toppings and sauces that allow you to create an endless variety of pizzas. If you love pizza crust – try their extra thick crust and then dip it in honey for a yummy dessert! This place is so yummy – you have to try it out!

We have been going to this restaurant since it opened up. Their lunches are around $7.00. Dinners are a little more expensive. But the food is out of this world. The staff is very friendly. When you enter your first thoughts are WOW because of the unusual scenery. Very clean place. I love it when you go into a bathroom and see a very clean area. A great place to eat!!!

I love this place! My fiancee' & I are regulars. It may not be as fancy-shmancy as alot of sushi places, but I'd rather come here any day of the week.
The owner, Mida (spell check?), always greets us as if we were family. Actually,I've noticed that she does this with just about everyone who walks through her door & knows them on a first-name basis.
There are a few restaurants that we frequent regularly, & none of them ever recognize us...even though we are in there several times a month or even week. They greet us as they would any random customer who walks in. It's not like that at Sushi Terrace. Kind of like that Cheers theme...I'd much rather go where somebody knows my name! :)
The service is extremely friendly, fast, & efficient. The food is always good (their spicy yellowtail is to die for).
I have recommended this place to several of my friends/family & they thought it was really good too!
Pros: Too many to name!
Cons: Sometimes they play some goofy sounding music...which isn't really a con at all.
