Because I had family in town, we wanted to go somewhere nice for Italian. The usual Denver restaurant came up as first choice, but we were so tired from our day of downhill biking that we decided to stick close to home. After reading the reviews about Pastas and seeing the ads in my local paper, I pulled up their website. Menu sounded great, prices affordable, and the pictures of the dining area looked nice. I enjoyed reading the owner's mission statement, so we decided to check it out.
It was a superb dining experience. The atmosphere was comfortable yet refined. The entire staff was extremely welcoming, and the food delicious. This will be a regular spot for my husband and I for a romantic dinners or just for a glass of wine at the bar where he can watch the Broncos on TV.
Cons: tucked in corner and had difficulty finding it

I have been going to Jade Garden for almost 15 years now and in that long time have never had one negative visit. The food is great, the staff is wonderful, and the variety of authentic Chinese dishes is outstanding. Anyone looking for very authentic, amazing Chinese food needs to try this place. You wont be disappointed at all, I promise.

By no means am I professional diner, or would I call myself a foodie, but I what I like and know a good restaurant from a bad one. However, I recently chose to eat at cafe terracotta with my husband. And my experience was one of the best dinning experiences I have had. I had a cranberry feta salad which was phenominal. And my entree, scallops, were perfectly cooked. Overall the food was fantastic and the waitstaff was very attentive and selected a wine for us to enjoy that paired great with the food. I did read some of the reviews from this website before going to the cafe, and I have to say that my overall experience exceeded the comments of the other reviews. I can understand that sometimes a server or the restaurant can be off their game...and accidents happen and I don't get it when people complain about accidents and expect something free when not everything is perfect. I plan on going back to the cafe for some of my special events or a date night. It is worth a try for sure.

I would describe this place as an American style Mexican restaurant/bar. But, the food was very good with one exception - the salsa which was not very good. Sure would be easy to change that! We ate at this location and also the one near Parker and Arapahoe and found both to be of good quality. The chile relleno was excellent and of course the clile was outstanding, reminiscent of the New Mexico style which we love. Good service, nice bars with lots of customers.
Pros: Chile and chile relleno
Cons: Probably less expensive Mexican eateries available

My family regularly visits Columbine Gardens for dinner. We usually get their take-out, but when we have time we like to dine-in. Their service is excellent! The food is always ready within about 10-15 minutes and it's always piping hot! My children love to go inside for dine-in service because they have two huge fish tanks filled will tropical fish lobsters (or maybe they're crab!). My son is always intrigued by the fish and the staff is very patient with him when he knocks on the glass. It's worth it to us to drive 20 minutes to Columbine Gardens because we know we'll get great food and service for a reasonable price.

Wow! I moved from Denver and then back again and was VERY sad to see that Magia has closed. I know at first they had a tough time "getting things right" but they accomplished that and then some the longer they were in business. I just think they were ahead of the times and most folks unfortunately were not familiar with the tapas concept. Too bad, especially in these tough economic times where small plates and portions are now in demand. It also was a great place to party! They had some of the best music groups in on Fridays and Saturdays. I will especially miss that. It's very difficult to find a nice place to gather, have some great food and wine, listen to some great music and chill out. There was no place else like it in the nearby surrounding area. Now where do I go without having to go all the way downtown?
