This place has the best donuts. They are always fresh and never hard and dry. The fillings are excellent and each donut is overstuffed. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. They will even give you free donuts to sample if you ask. Be sure to watch for the hot light on their sign, that means that they have just made glazed donuts - hot and delicious.

Taste of Philly locally owned and operated is THE place for a FABULOUS PHILLY in Denver! These reasonably priced cheesesteaks are melt in your mouth good and will have you craving more. For those of you that don’t eat beef, the turkey philly is just as tasty. There are four locations in Colorado that boast Amoroso brand bread sent straight from Philly, TastyKakes and birch beer. They have won several Best Philly in Denver awards over the years and once you taste one you will know why. YUMMY!!

Great restaurant for asian fare in Highlands Ranch. Service is friendly and quick, menu has plenty to offer. Dining in is nice but I recommend their fast and convenient To Go service as well. Just phone ahead and pick up your food in minutes. Although I have never had to wait long for a table, the dining area is small and somewhat cramped. There is also a comfortable little patio with sunshade for summer dining.

This is one of the best sandwich places in DTC. I love their selection of meat and cheeses. The breads they use are also very tasty. They also offer so many different toppings and sauces - you really have endless options when it comes to sandwiches! They also have great salads and panini’s. I would recommend doing the half and half deal – where you get to choose 2 of the following: small soup, ½ sandwich or panini, or small salad. It’s a great value for your money – and I’m sure you will be impressed with the quality of their food!

This place is great. You can either dine in or out via the handy, convenient drive thru and they have a sign outside that lets you know right when they have just taken out a fresh batch! The donuts vary in what they serve depending on the season. I love the fall, they have a wonderful pumpkin spice cake donut.

This place is so yummy. You get to custom create your ice cream by having them mix in toppings to their basic ice cream. You could eat this alone as it is almost a custard it is so thick and creamy but when you add in their mix-ins it is fabulous. A fun thing they do is sing silly songs when you tip them.

They have more than just good meat at Tony's. It is an upscale grocery with gourmet cheeses and food items. They have fresh flowers, a wonderful bakery and an endless amount of prepared foods. I like to go there when I am short on time and pick up prepared foods for dinner. They have a wonderful selection of meats, and already marinated items as well that are ready to toss on the grill. The employees are always knowledgeable and ready to answer your questions or make suggestions for dining or entertaining!

They have everything and it is not overpriced like you might think of such a nice store. This place is so upscale and clean that I actually enjoy walking around for awhile looking at the thousands of different wines they have. The people are super-nice and very knowledgeable as well. Oh, and the wine chiller is THE best. You can chill your wine while you shop in just a few minutes, so you are ready to drink it when you get home or to the party, etc... They also have free wine tastings on Fridays, Saturdays and some holidays. When they first came into the neighborhood, I was concerned with having a liquor store just a few blocks away, but this place is just so nice and convenient that I am glad they are there. They have a loyalty program as well where you can earn money towards future purchases.

I love my local Safeway. I think that over the years they have gotten better and better and offer more great items.
They have a great deli that offers so many yummy choices. At this particular Safeway, you can order sandwiches and paninis. They have a large selection of ready-to-eat Chinese food in their deli. They also have a great olive and antipasto bar, as well as delicious soups. In the bakery you will find some great desserts – the fruit tart is my favorite!
I also am really impressed with their floral department. The cost and quality of their flowers and vases is excellent!

I visited Kai, a Japanese restaurant in old Littleton, for the first time almost a year and a half ago. I had eaten my first sushi only a matter of months before, but nevertheless I was blown away by the quality and experience that Kai offered. After well over a year (and a little more experience in Japanese food), my respect for Kai has only intensified. The food is by far the best Japanese I have ever had, and the hospitality is flawless. Kai also presents an atmosphere that is unique from other sushi restaurants: instead of bright, loud, and busy, Kai is quiet, private, with classical music and dimmed lights – an atmosphere more conducive to enjoying your food. As an extra treat, the prices are extremely good for sushi – not so low as to endanger the quality, but you also get a good amount of food for the price you pay. In my opinion, Kai provides the best Japanese food AND the best atmosphere in town – it’s the best of both worlds!
