Good: We were seated promptly. That was the only positive thing that happened while we were there.. Bad: The pizza was soggy and swimming in grease. It took more than 45 minutes to get our food. Service was extremely slow. Our waitress took our order, and then forgot about us, and spenta lot of time chatting with the other wait staff. After about 40 minutes, I saw her go to the kitchen, talk to the cooks, and our pizza was put into the oven. She never checked on our drinks, never stopped by to see if our food was ok, in fact, avoided us completely until it was time to drop off the check.. Improvements: Good wait staff can make a big difference in the dining experience, yet they have evidently not been trained in the importance of friendly interaction with guests, and checking back to see if they need anything. More attention needs to be paid to the quality of the food being served. The owner needs to spend time overseeing the staff and managing the quality of the entire experience.. Other: This is a grungy dive without any of the associated charm or ambience. The owner spent a lot of time schmoozing with his friends, talking about strippers in Las Vegas, and yukking it up. After we were seated, no one in this establishment treated us as welcomed guests. We will never darken their door again..

McKinners Pizza Bar, which opened just recently in Old Littleton, has brought something new to the historic area: a trendy bar and restaurant to compliment Littleton’s quaint little shops and theater. Although there are other bars and restaurants on Main Street, there are none quite like this one! The crowd, the bar and tables setup, the fast service, and the to-die-for pizza all feel like something out of the big city, despite the small town location. Although the prices are a bit on the high side of Main Street’s variety, it’s worth paying for the experience!
