The roast chicken is very good. My kids love the chicken fingers and the pizzas. The only thing we dislike is that you have to get your own beverage refills. They do have refillable mugs - you buy it the first time and can then get free drinks anytime you go in after that if you take the mugs. All in all, we enjoy eating here. It is always clean, fairly quiet and the food generally is served quickly.

The inside looks like a barn that is half about to fall down, but apparently the waitress said it was on purpose which made it kind of cool. Definitely a "country" atmosphere. They do a good job sticking with their theme. The food was pretty good and wait staff was friendly and attentive. Pretty decent place.

My husband and I love going to this place. It was one of the first restaurants recommended to us before we moved here to go check out and try. The food's excellent! We usually get ribs or a combo. The ribs always turn out perfect. Love the fish and shrimp that I've gotten there too. I also have enjoyed the ravioli that was served over spinach. I think the servings are always the perfect size not too much and not petite like an appetizer that leaves you craving for more. They have a good selection of desserts too. The fried twinkie's not so bad either, I've never had another one so I can't compare. Service is always excellent. My 8 month old almost pick pocketed the waiter and the waiter just played along with her. And it seems like every other time we go we get a discount or something free. Like this last time we went we just had to fill out a survey for a free shake. And another time before a coin was flipped to see if we'd get one of our entree for free and we guessed right and got one free! The only one small complaint is the lack of parking spaces. It always seems to be busy the last few nights we've gone. In fact the last time we went someone stole our parking spot we were going to pull into when we had our turn signal on! Oh, well. Life's too short to ticked off by inconsiderate people. For your birthday they treat you to a song too if they find out, because last time we were in there were at least 3 people serenaded in the short couple of hours we were there. It's a definite must go if you are here in Little Rock, AR.

Shorty Small's is a very good restaurant to eat in. It is sometimes crowded but that's only because the food is so good. I had their baby back ribbs and they pretty much fell off the bone. Our wait was not long once we got into the restaurant.And the place was really jumping. So to get service so fast was without a doubt surprising. The people were very nice and friendly
