Janet Jones Company sold my previous house in 27 hours--from sinking the sign stake in the yard to approval of final offer! Johnson Melhorn was my agent and he worked my property like it was his own. This company has been around for 30-plus years and has many long-tenure agents who are pillars of their churches and neighborhoods. I had the worst experience with Janet Jones Real Estate Company. She came out to my house, gave me a market analysis and said it was worth $190,000 in Pleasant Valley. I argued with her about her low price on the house and asked her if she was trying to get me to sell it low so she could sell the house fast at a low price. She told me because of the condition of the home, I would not get much more than that for it and on top of that she was going to charge me 7% to list my home. I sent her away. And a week later, after I put my "For Sale By Owner" sign in my yard, I sold my home for $215,000 with no Realtor and no commission fees. Watch out for this real estate company, they lie to you about the value of your home, so they can make a fast sell.

We recently bought and sold a house in Little Rock using the Janet Jones Company. Our agent was Katherine Melhorn. The house we bought was listed by another agent in the company. Our agent really went the extra mile when we encountered several roadblocks in our sale. We sold an older house and had to do several improvements. She arranged for all of the renovations and did all of the legwork. When we had a boundary dispute with our neighbor, she helped arrange a title search of the property to clarify the issue. The Janet Jones Company has a nice office, conveniently located on Cantrell near other popular businesses.
