Whole Hog café is just one of those great Bar B Q places you love to frequent. Its award winning barbeque is featured in many contests around town and has gone home with gold many times. The inside is filled with numerous trophies of the successes this place has had. The employees are always courteous and friendly and are willing to wait on you as you are awed at the great menu items you have to choose from. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for some great grub in Little Rock.

There's a reason for all those trophies and clippings on the wall of the restaurant- the barbecue rocks! Try anything- the pulled pork, the baby back ribs, the brisket, etc. and you can't go wrong. 6 sauce types are available at the table, ranging from the vinagery to the sweet to the spicy. The side items are equally wonderful. If forced to choose my favorites at gun point, I would say try the cole slaw, potato salad and baked beans.
Cold beer and tasty sweet or unsweetened tea are available to wash down all that fine chow.

We live in the neighborhood and eat there frequently. The sandwiches are our favorite. Potato salad is just the right balance of mustard/mayo. The ribs are excellent. The variety of sauces from sweet to hot to mustard-based are excellent. The restaurant itself seems to be expanding every time we return. Numerous trophies from BBQ contests line the walls. We recently had The Whole Hog cater a child's birthday party. We ordered 8 lbs of pulled pork, beans and they included a generous selection of all their barbecue sauces. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and the service was excellent.

A recent newcomer to Little Rock, trying to find a replacement to my beloved Bandana's of St. Louis, I had all but given up hope of finding good Bar-B-Q, till I ate at Whole Hog! WOW!!! The food is GREAT and the portions are huge, for the money it is a well hidden treasure of Little Rock. It is a quaint little restaurant with bare necessities at best for the dinning area, but the food makes up for lack of atmosphere! The bar-b-q is tender and delicious and so good that you can't get enough, but you do get more than enough! A great place for a quick meal that offers a real treat for the bar-B-Q lover!
