True story. One day my grandmother was going to get her hair fixed. She backed out of the driveway and realized that her car wouldn't stop and the brake pedal was going to the floor. She eased over to Jett's to let them look at it, and mentioned something about her haircut. Well one of the guys actually drove her to her hair appointment while they worked on her car that day. At other times she has called them and they have gone to her car and helped her out. I am not sure if they are the cheapest but I stick with them because of the way they treat their customers.

I like Jett's, although all I've gotten there are oil changes. They offer friendly service and fair prices, from my experience.

They look like good old fashioned gasoline station with good mechanics; but what I got was a broken car returned to me with a big bill. They were supposed to fix my car; but never could get it... More

They look like good old fashioned gasoline station with good mechanics; but what I got was a broken car returned to me with a big bill. They were supposed to fix my car; but never could get it right, I paid more for the repair than I was quoted and it was still not fixed. I ended up having to take my car to another mechanic to get it fixed. I do not recommend taking your car to Jett's for any type of repair; unless you have a big pocket book and plenty of extra cars; because they kept my car for almost 2 weeks and never fixed it. I would look for another mechanic shop with more experience, Jett told me that his mechanic quit him and that he would fix the car for me; but he couldn't ever find the time to get it fix. Sorry; but you gave me terrible service and a big fat bill to pay!

Jett's is an old school BP gas station and routinely has 3 or 4 'hoopty' (i.e. demi-clunkers) out front. Jett's is known for having a Lazarus like ability with older vehicles, squeezing out the last bit out of life out of dilapidated rides that have no business being on the road-- and at a fair price. Even more amazing was the detail job they performed on a co-workers truck. When he first brought it in, it looked (and smelled) like a rabid monkey and condor had mated on the dashboard and seats. But in 2 days, Jett's had the interior, undercarriage and engine shining like pirate's treasure. I was amazed.
