Talbots is Talbots, so if you are looking for moderately conservative clothing, this is the place to go. Although, I do think they are starting to have a few hip clothing lines. The sales staff are great, and the sizing is very accurate, which is great this day and age. It's a bit fuddy duddy to me, but I have found some great work pieces that really do last for years. And don't forget their semi-annual sales: great bargains!

Renaissance is an excellent place to shop to that hard to buy for person. They offer all sorts of artisan made ceramics, jewelry and other items. Truly beautiful stuff!! It's a little bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The items are gorgeous and very well made with love by a local artisan.

I love this store! It is quite expensive, but they truly have one of a kind really fun pieces for every season. I could spend an awfully lot of time and money here, and if I am not looking for clothing, I can get jewelry, cards, funny gifts.... it's a great shop! You won't know what you need till you check out what they have--and if you are looking for a fun holiday outfit stop by.
