The Lisle Library, while not as large and expansive as its neighbor in downtown Naperville, is reliable for everyday borrowing needs. In addition to the general reading section, they have a non-circulating reference section, a separate room for audio books, movies, and CDs, and a children's library on the second floor. I especially like the online access to your account, where you can recall, renew, or search for book. The library also sends out email reminders a few days before your book is due, which is a really nice feature. There's plenty of parking available, but spaces in front of the library are often all taken. Just drive around the building, and you'll find plenty available in the upper lot near the children's library entrance.

Lisle's community library is impressive, considering that you can search for books, renew existing books, and place requests from the comfort of your own home computer. They send out electronic reminders when your books are nearing their due dates, which are usually quite helpful.
Their overall book selection is impressive, but a little dated. The computer/IT section is decidedly outdated, but it seems like they're trying to maintain current books as well. The AV room blew me away with its selection of cds and dvds for "rental." Every month, it seems like they get at least a dozen new books and dvds-- impressive by any standard.
Atmosphere-wise, it is sorely lacking. There's no coffee cart, and the overall decor reeks of the early 1970s. Natural lighting is at a minimum, and chairs/tables remind me of a junior high homeroom. With a little work and renovation, the Lisle library could be quite the reader's destination. But for now, I'll take my book and read at home.

Lisle Library is a decent library, but its selection isnt THAT spectacular. Many of the libraries in Chicago and the one in oakbrook are much better, in my humble opinion. Also, this library doesnt have that great of a music selection. In my humble opinion, there are a lot of great libraries out there and this isnt one of them . I give this palce three stars out of five.

Lisle Library is the place to go for comfortable conditions while you sit back and enjoy a good book or do your research.
They have computers available for your use and before I bought my own computer, I would go in and use the libraries.
This is also a great place for children. The number of books and activities are above the norm. They also encourage children to read by holding contests.
Special guest speakers are on the schedule. Just drop in and pick up a calendar of events.
