It's not often that you have a childhood memory of a TV repair service. I remember our old RCA Admiral TV. We probably had it a year or two longer than we should have and so by the time Dark Shadows began in the summer of 1966 it's reliability was questionable. I remember the night ""old faithful"" went dark. It was horrible. It meant that if something wasn't done...quick, fast, and in a hurry...I would not be watching Dark Shadows the next day...and that simply would never do. Pros: My tv works again Cons: I wish my tv was as reliable as Hefner's
