This restaurant offers the best in southern cooking. It has all the favorites, pinto beans, mashed potatoes, chicken pie and dumplings. It also has the standard hot dogs and hamburger items. The plate of food you get for the price is very generous. The plate lunches start at 4.95 for meat and 2 vegetables to 5.65 for a meat and 3 vegetables. On some days you can order fish or steak items with the vegetables but these usually are at an added price. The service is very quick we have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for our meal to be served.
