Heritage Antiques

Good: Nothing. Bad: That I felt disrespected and that I was not worth their time. I wanted them to look at some old antiques that I had found in a family members house and made and appointment. I was greeted in the parking lot, while they looked at my things in the truck of my car. They did not seem like they were interested in even helping me out trying to knowledge myself on my items. Even if they were junk, they could have told me instead of being so rude as to not care about the things I had.. Improvements: They need to improve their customer service skills and need to not think they are so high and mighty because they were on American Pickers probably years ago and the chances of anyone seeing that episode are probably slim to none.. Other: The little time I actually got to spend in the shop was nice, but because of poor customer service was not invited in to even be considered as a customer. I will never return to this location to buy antiques and being a young consumer I feel this business will miss out, because all over town I have heard many times the younger generation does not care about antiques. Well I am interested and so are about 6 of my friends so I guess the young people that are interested will not be visiting this shop!!. more

Heritage Antiques in Lexington KY has relocated to 238 E. Main St. The new location is spectacular. The back of the store was an 1858 horse livery with the original wooden beams in the ceiling as well as the original horse stall numbers on the brick. I'm from Florida and whenever I come to KY I always have to check their store out. The new location seems to carry more highend artwork which is what I am interested in. They also seem to have better items than they used to have. They said that they just reopened and I would highly recommend everyone to go check it out. It's the only place in Lexington that has truly magnificant antiques! more

Heritage Antiques is a terrific place to find that one piece you've been missing. They have a huge selection and are very knowledgeable about what they do have. Always clean and welcoming and very kind to my children when they have shopped with me. the staff will answer any questions you have and even try to help you find just what you're looking for. more
