My boyfriend and I went to Al Dente's as a special outing... we were both HIGHLY disappointed. We went with high expectations of a 5-Star rated restaurant, and it missed the target COMPLETELY. Our waitress was rude and refused to replace my mistaken meal... our drinks took 15 minutes to be served... the meals were no better than any chain "italian" restaurant, and the presentation of the meals were nothing to brag about. We got the Antipasto for our appetizer and it was completely drenched in oil. Prices were absurd for what was given and the service that was offered. The atmosphere was also nothing special; there was a loud waiting area, cold temperatures, and children running around tables. My advice... don't waste your time or money... Bertucci's is a better option than Al Dente. Pros: got none... Cons: everything...

Al Dente is the Italian restaurant located within the Foxwoods Casino Resort complex. The food is excellent. They have a wide variety of appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts. Do try the tiramisu- excellent! Al Dente accepts comp points on your player card, which is nice because it is a bit pricey. Worth it though!

Foxwoods is a large casino that would compete with almost anything in Vegas. They could have done a little better with the actual casino architecture to reflect the Indian Heritage. This is an area that Mohegun Sun has them beat. However, the casino areas at Foxwoods are expansive. Limited casino competition in the area keeps game prices high on weekends.

If you're looking for something exciting to do, here's the place. THere are tons of games, shops, and restaurants. You won't run out of things to do. The food court has great venders for a very reasonable price. The parking isn't bad either! Stay for the night and see a show!
