Do not EVER consider using this store for your bridal needs!!!!! I bought a dress from here. Day of my wedding, I picked my dress up and went straight to church. When I put the dress on, there were white spots on my dress and a stripe down the middle where you could see the steamer's lines had gone. I called Nolte's who had steamed the dress and they said to use a damp paper towel to take the spots off which didn't work. They closed for the day before I could get any further communication done. So there were spots all over my dress for my BIG day. I called to see if there was any compensation and Michael Nolte was very RUDE and said Nolte's did not do it and he hadn't even seen the dress. I know the spots and streaks didn't magically appear on my dress in the 10 minute ride to the church especially when it was in one of their protective bags. Like I said, DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! If something goes wrong, they will not take responsibility for something that is their fault!

Mike Nolte is amazing!! He knew what I wanted even though I didn't know!! The first dress he picked out turned out to be the dress of my dream. He is amazing. He is very professional and the staff was extremely helpful. The dressing room made the whole buying experience so great. There was enough room for all my friends and family to view the dress. (ALL 5 of them!!) They are THE place in KC to get a designer dress. The quality of the dress is better than I could have imagined.

This place is absolutely horrible! I was told numerous time to stay away from here, but I just happen to find the perfect dress here. Their dresses are beautiful but their customer service is absolutely terrible!!!! They are stuck up, rude, have horrible follow through...I could go on and on!!!! Don't ever try to call them and asks questions or whether thing have been delivered b/c know one knows anything and no one ever calls you back! There were numerous mistakes maid on a number of things we ordered from there and no one ever seemed to care. If you want a great experience, one you'll always remember, and can share with your loved ones DO NOT COME HERE. I wasn't stressed or worried about one thing for me wedding EXCEPT the ATTIRE purchased and provided by Nolte's. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ALL AROUND!

This place seemed like things would go well in the beginning. After I paid for the dress I waited the 11 months for it- it was only supposed to take 6 at the very most!, In the meantime I asked for samples of things to match with my dress. When I was shown wrong things I was told I had changed my mind about details, was told I lied etc- it wasn't until I brought in original write up of dress that was told ooops I punched in wrong number and didn't order correct fabrics for your dress. All I heard about was how he was designing his own gowns, building a brand new store, writing a book, his daughters, neighbors etc but that he is the best ever. Staff was rude, didnt help with dress after it was paid for. Had to wait while they took care of new customers even after they would come in after me. He made appointments with me and didn't show up. He said he'd make appt with seamstress to detail with her how dress was supposed to look- when I showed up to meet with seamstress the following week- he never did meet with her and had to pin the dress myself. It wasn't until my fiancee had to personally check with him every day until I got my dress 3 days before the wedding. His staff gave us his cell number (we didn't ask for it- they just said call him yourself) and he said he was going to fire them- further proof he didn't want to be bothered after he screwed up the dress, and dodged opportunities to fix it. Also one month before wedding he said he'd just refund my money for a special sash for dress and I could just go elswhere (one month before wedding!!!) He constantly blamed his staff for problems with the dress. It was actually a very simple dress that should not have been this big of a deal. I paid thousands of dollars for that dress and had I been able to do it over again I would have gone anywhere but that place. By the way, he never gave any discount for any of th

Went here so excited...on a tip from a friend. Again...so excited. We knew exactly what we needed, just to look at the hair pieces, buy something, and leave. The woman appeared from the back, and told us they were closing soon for a very important event (it was 10:25am) and we didn't need anything did we? She ran as fast as she could in the back and we never saw her again until we were leaving, without what we came for. Rude salespeople. Zero customer service. SNOTTY!!! We have nothing but good things to say about Nolte's. Mike Nolte is a top notch wedding planner and know's what he's doing. He's been doing this for 25 years. He knows all the vendors in the area and is worth every cent for his services and does a lot more then you expect. I highly recommend his services and his shop.

I purchased my bridal gown from Noltes. They by far had the most beautiful selection with the most designer gowns. My dress was absolutely perfect. However, my first visit there did not begin very well. It was not until my mother, who is a doctor, pulled up in her Mercedes that the sales staff paid any attention to me. I had an appointment and they really had no interest in helping me until the money arrived.
