We have been going here since they opened..And although we don't get to go nearly as much as we did when we lived down south, we still try to make the trip at least once a month. The food is AMAZING! They are a little more expensive than other Japanese steakhouses I've eaten at, but totally worth it! Their ginger sauce is to die for! A lot of their chefs have been there since the beginning and they always put on a great show. I regularly get the filet and shrimp with fried rice. It's SO good! Sometimes even the owner will come cook for you. It's a really fun experience and they're great for a family night or just a date night!!!

I went to this place and all the bills were charged for a full order when I ordered for half portion. Another friend got a "Sharing Fee" when he shared a meal. The half portion and the full portion looks exactly the same and the quantity is no different.
There are other Japanese restaurants in town which serve better. AVOID THIS ONE

Han Shin does the traditional Japanese steakhouse preparations, with everyone seated around the grill while the chef shows his skill. Their chefs are better than average, and seem to work particularly well with children, flipping shrimp at them to catch, etc. Service is efficient, and the space is arranged to give some privacy, so you're not distracted by fun going on at a nearby table. Their prices are reasonable given the quality of the food -- highly recommended for date night, or a family celebration.
