My family just moved across the street and this place is amazing! The service is excellent and the food is remarkable!! We have been over half a dozen times and every time we keeping getting wow'd by the place. The patio is excellent - and on Saturday they have live bands on the patio. They have a stuffed avocado that is absolutely out of this world good....and there's just enough spice in all their dishes (though I tried the Habanero wings and they were incredibly spicy....but I ate them all). They're VERY family friendly and offer a wide variety of food to please basically everyone.... This is our gem in the burbs....and the kids love the birds on the patio!! Pros: Out of this world food! Cons: Parking on busy nights....

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. I live across the street and the kids and I go here at least 3 times a week. The staff is always friendly and the food is wonderful. How many Mexican restaurants do you know that serve peanut butter and jelly on a kids meal? Their menu includes pretty much everything - including old fashioned hamburgers....old fashioned meaning they make them by hand - they don't use a preformed frozen hamburger patty. The kids love the curly fries and I always get steamed broccoli....yeah fresh steamed broccoli! The service has always been outstanding - the waitresses know me by name and know how I like my margarita! The kids love their homemade banana pudding too. It is without question one of the best neighborhood spots to go and hang out and enjoy an amazing meal! Oh yeah - the kids love the birds on the patio!! Pros: Excellent local spot to hang out and have a great margarita! Cons: None that I have experienced....

We went to this restaurant last night and when our food was brought out we noticed an insect came out with it and got on the table. We called the manager over and showed him, he laughed and took the insect away without apologizing or saying anything. He acted like it was no big deal. We waited a few minutes and he never returned. The waitress apologized, but the manager never returned so we decided to leave and told the waitress we were going. After we were in the parking lot the owner approached us and asked us to pay the bill. I was shocked! We had not even eaten anything, not to mention the insect at our table. He proceeded to threaten us with "theft of service" and argue in front of kids and everyone. He commented that this was common and was no big deal. At the other resteraunts I have been too this was not common, and if there was any type of problem, they were quick to rectify the situation. I was very disappointed at the way the situation was handled and would not recommend this place to anyone. Pros: None Cons: Bad Service, Not helpful to customers, Poor management staff.

We waited a few minutes and he never return the waitress apologized but the manger never returned so we decided to leave and told the waitress. What a great place so close to home! They have birds on the patio that the kids love to go visit & huge aquariums that keep the kids occupied in the dining rooms. We've taken our dog on Sunday to the patio and it's amazing.... Service and food were both excellent! We've been going here for about a year now and everything is consistently top notch. We would suggest anyone go here who want top quality Mexican food and excellent margaritas! (Oh yeah, the bartender told me they DO put everclear in their margaritas - so be careful!) My wife always eats the same thing (Beef Fajitas) and swears they are the best she's ever had - she gets a side of their chipotle sauce to put on them too....it's amazing. I like changing it up all the time and EVERY dish I've eaten there is perfectly spiced. Pros: Perfectly spiced food - great service - excellent margaritas! Cons: Nothing so far....

The margaritas were very weak they tasted like they were made from wine. The prices were high for the quality of food and drinks you get. There are MANY more Mexican restaurants in the area for the same price. We sat in the bar area and it took forever to be waited on. A business should never leave customers waiting customers are the reason they have there doors open. The owners were there and didn't seem too friendly unless they knew you. The patio was nice. However there was a funny odor on the patio. (Maybe it was from the Sunday afternoon with the dogs.) I would not recommend this place to anyone. Pros: location

I've been going to Marinas for about 3 months now - my wife and I just moved here from Dallas - and we absolutely love it! We typically sit at the bar and everyone there just makes you feel at home...it is without question the neighborhood spot for people. We've been going through the different dishes and everything has been excellent - if you like out of this world spicy try the mango habanero chicken!! They make their tortillas homemade and they're amazing! Just all around great! Oh yeah - we sometimes go with our dog on Sunday and relax on the patio. I can't say enough how cool the staff and even the customers are there. The owners are typically there and it's just nice to talk to someone that takes pride in being locally owned and operated. They've always been able to answer any question that I've asked....about food or tequila... I've never been overcharged or found their prices to be outside the norm - in fact they should charge more for some of their menu items in my opinion. I have noticed that on Friday and Saturday they seem to be a bit short staffed - but I guess all restaurants have a tendency to be at the mercy of their employees showing up....and working. But the bar staff is ALWAYS excellent! I love walking in and being acknowledged by name.... I love this neighborhood spot - the food is always excellent and the service is great! In today's economy I applaud a restaurant that remains reasonable and makes adjustments to not overcharge it's customers. We have been going to Marina's for a long long time. Know the staff very well. Our nephew had his rehearsal dinner there. It's only been recently that it was brought to my attention that we are being overcharged. After checking my husbands cc statements, it's been confirmed. I am very disappointed that they would stoop so low. We always go in there with confidence that we are going to get great service and good food/drinks. Only we didn't know we would have to pay so much extra for it. With ALL the mexican restuarants around here, we will definitely be going somewhere else. Oh, and did I mention all the DRAMA that goes on in there with the management and staff? I can definitely do without that. It's very uncomfortable to be trying to enjoy our food/drinks with a bunch of bs going on. Thanks, but NO thanks! Pros: Food, sometimes Cons: overcharging, too much drama!

The patio is best place in League City to have a drink and something wonderful to eat. There is always something new on the menu, but you can never go wrong wtih the fish tacos. I enjoy this neighborhood restaurant and having a margarita while my kids run around on their large patio. They added another aquarium in the main dining room and have plasma televisions throughout - and they turn on American Idol! (That may be considered good or bad...) They have wonderful selections of fresh food - we have grown to LOVE their fish tacos!! My kids enjoy that they go out of their way to make sure they have a good time - while adults can really enjoy time with their friends. My wife enjoys the fact that they have a diverse and very wide wine selection - amazing for a Mexican restaurant! Finally - the owners typically go out of their way to accommodate any taste buds - even making vegetarian dishes with fresh grilled vegetables. Tell me any other Mexican restaurant that goes to that length! My FAMILY goes here frequently - and they know us by name! Sad that as adults we can not expect adults to act as such...If someone is saying something out of turn in front of my children, believe me I'm going to speak up - I do not rely on others! The managers/owners can not control the actions of every person at every time. I was there that evening and what you failed to mention is that the person who was "dropping the 'f' and 'n' bomb" was himself African American. I also always find it interesting that people say that "all I like is the beans", but this was your 6th visit. If either I or my kids don't like a place - I DO NOT GO BACK!
