I found my stylist Chelle from city search and was asked to put an review I think it is a great tool becuz like me I found her here...and I'm new in town..and I didn't mind being ask to do so. Also i will say that chelle is a AWESOME stylist!! She also always runs on time I dont think I've ever seen her run late and if she did maybe 5 minutes. She is also NOT pushy with products.I will say she is very professional, smart, funny and TALENTED. Pros: always on time Cons: make appt before leaving

We would never trust anyone else to touch our heads!!When I first walked into Colorlocks I was comfortable right away. The set up is different from any other salon. They have many wonderful services and the eye candy isn't too bad either! These people know what they're doing, they'll take the time to go over color and styles with you to make sure that you have the best possible experience and walk away wanting to come back. You'll receive compliments on your color and style I can promise you that! Pros: Best hair dressers in Texas Cons: None

Something strikes me as a little fishy on all of the "perfect" reviews for this salon. It appears to me that this web site is used more as an advertising site....in fact, I was asked one time while I was in the chair if I ever wrote reviews on CitySearch. It was obvious that it was a lead-on question, obviously to solicit a review. While the stylists are generally talented, I think that they all suffer from over-inflated egos....I mean, who would actually say "I'm good and I know it" to their customer! There are several references on here to George "pulling their hair" and I find this offensive and inappropriate. I go to a salon to get my hair done, not to be aroused. I don't know if it is overbooking appointments that cause some of the stylists to run so far behind or just poor planning, but my time is valuable as well. Out of 10 appointments, only one started within 5 minutes of my arrival. Normal wait time is 20-30 minutes and twice, I was asked to go get something to eat and come back in an hour. I don't think so. This place is notorious for pushing products and being someone who is on a budget, it gets to be uncomfortable. The prices on services are well above the average too. This place has potential, but it needs an crash course on customer service and how to keep stylists on a schedule. Pros: Talented stylists Cons: Constantly runs behind on appointments & over-inflated egos

George is the stylist to go to!!! He is not only good at what he does but he takes the time to get to know you and your hair (the way you style it , products you prefer to use, etc.) He also took the time to explain what kind of hair styles i can do to go with the shape of my face and colors that will bring out my eyes and skin tone. I love his cutting and coloring tequniques its so different it fits. For it being my first time i was satisfied and he made sure of it!! :) Him and his staff are very friendly and professional...O and one last thing he likes to pull some hair so if your tender headed be prepared :)..THANKS GEORGE! ~EM Pros: He knows his stuff!!!

George is an absolute genius who has perfected his craft to the max!! I'm extremely picky on who comes near my hair! George had such a confidence in the way he wanted to redesign my whole cut and color that I would be absolutely insane to pass up. Luckily, I placed my hair in great hands! Not only were my results astonishing, but the experience was incredible as well...everything right down to my hair wash at the shampoo bowl. I have found my permanent HAIR DESIGNER!! Pros: Results are EXACTLY as described!

After reading the reviews, I made an appointment with George for a much needed new hair style. He asked the usual questions, but actually listened to the answers and gave me a hair style that was perfect. I didn't know what I needed in a hair style (just that I wanted something easy to manage), but George knew exactly how to cut my hair in order for it to BE easy to manage. I was pleased with my new hair style when I left the salon, but knew the true test would be styling it myself. I must say that I am truly challenged when it comes to styling my hair. Amazing.....it was easy to manage.....I was able to style my hair in not 1, but 3 styles that were easy and looked great. Thank you George!
