I really enjoyed my chicken curry, even though I ordered a different dish.
I thought the food was very delicious, but a bit pricey. It cost me $15.04 just for the one meal. More >

I love Indian food and this place makes some of the best Indian dishes I've had. I've had the Chicken Tika Masala, Korma , Daal and curry - all were with naan and rice. The chicken is always so tender, their flavors are strong and have a good spicy kick, and their portions look good and are very filling. My friends have tried most things on their menu and everything is just delicious. Writing about it now makes me crave it again, even though I just had it last night! They also have mango/strawberry lassi and chai that's very creamy and thick. Love it!

Taste of India you are too good to my tummy even though I leave with food coma majority of the time!
I pretty much have to agree with majority of the reviewers. Their curries rock, and is even better when you eat it with one of their rice dishes or naans. You have to scoop all the goodness up and scrape your plate clean! Don't waste the oh so tasty sauce! I have to say some of the vegetable dishes are a hit or miss for me. I don't like veggies but here i loved it. Texture can mos def kill it for me. The BBQ's are yumm as well, try the Lamb and the saag paneer.
I give this place 5 stars because service is excellent along with the food.
Verdict: When you see all the Indians and Pakistani folks of Utah and all other community go here to grub you know damn well the food is worth it! :D

---Whatever the case, I made it down to the Tenderloin again and had to continue my quest for curry. The first object of my desire was Bobay house, which knocked my socks off. So the standards were high, but I heard good things about Taste of India and read here. It was on.
I happened to be here between lunch and dinner, so it wasn't too packed (I was almost worried it would be closed and called beforehand, but they were good to go). So their menus are basically all aauthentic Indian cuisine newspapers, with their tasty food the story of the day. I went with my standard:
Curry Rogan Josh chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, kheer and mango lassi. Plus i also tried new veggie saag paneer..
Now i can say this is the best Indian food in the city. I think I would recoend to have a plate of Saag Paneer in front of me, and I'm not even a vegetarian. What's nuts is how cheap it is - you can get the tandoori chicken and naan for like five bucks and I swear it will fill you up. I would marry one of those guys if they cooked like that at home...if they would have me. Anyway, Taste of India rules.
You better go ..don't try just enjoy............you will love it...
