I have been to Osaka quite a bit and i still can't seem to find sushi quite as good as theirs. I love going in and having the smiling faces of the servers as i walk in they are just so happy to see me come in and do their very best to take good care of me. I am amazed at how good the food because of the fact that we don't live next to an ocean and yet they still seem to have fresh fish. Those of you who complain of getting sick from the food but yet no one else did then that should show you that it was not the food but you as a person was just getting something. I do however know that sometimes if you go to the same place over and over agian it will never be the same it will either be better or not as good but yet I still keep going back for more.
Pros: service and food
Cons: none

By far the best indian food in Utah. They do a great job with all their dishes, particularly the chicken and lamb dishes (chicken tandoori, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Coconut Kurma are my favorites). Naan breads are die for.

Easily the best Pho in Utah. We also had bun and rolls which were excellent. Everything is clearly fresh and handmade and seasoned authentically. Plenty of servers when we were there, but the owner also took the time to chat with us and tell us exactly how they make their pho broth (a 48-hour process!). Travel great distances to eat here. It is worth it, and you can look smugly across the parking lot at the fools going in and out of Applebees.
Pros: Best Version of the Best Food on the Planet: PHO!!!
Cons: In a strip mall in Layton

This is great Thai food! Prices are low and the portions are big. The Pad Thai is excellent as well as the Thai fried rice. The service is excellent with a friendly staff and the atmosphere is calming and inviting. Even the carrots that come out with the dishes are hand carved into flowers, and leaves. I live in West Jordan with other Thai places near by but I would much rather drive up to Layton to get Thai food from Pad Thai.
Pros: Cheap prices, great food with good portions, friendly service, all around great restaurant!
Cons: Wish it was closer to where I live!

We eat at China Hill about once a month or grab take out. The only dish that was a let down was shrimp in lobster sauce - but who the heck orders that? My mother, that's who. She didn't like it.
My favorite Moo shu in the area, fresh veggies, not too greasy.
Needs more heat in spicy dishes, but that's a Utah thing, I'm afraid they have to cater to the local market.
Pros: Good quality chinese in a part of Layton where there's nothing else worth eating.
Cons: Spicy dishes too tame for this chili head

Little Orient's food's not as good as China Hill, but it arrives at our door in N Layton out east of Hill AFB hot and fresh, and their delivery drivers are always courteous. They look like either high school kids, or sometimes the owners - but they bring it when they say. One time delivery was late, they were swamped- but get this - they called to apologize and tell us why they were running late. The lady who arrived was apologetic and was obviously running her tail off to fill orders- but our food was piping hot.
The ingredients are good, veggies are crisp, food's not too greasy, a little light on the seasoning but tasty. Fried dishes can get a little rich - the wife ordered general Tso's and orange chicken - both sauces were too sweet for me, but a dose of Sriracha helped. Stick with non breaded and fried stuff, it's their strong suit.
Wish they'd put more heat in the kung pao, but overall we like this place. Did I mention DELIVERY?
Pros: DELIVERY, good food arrives hot
Cons: Needs more spice, not super authentic
