Cafe Allegro in Laverne is a quite romantic lovely evening experience. As you wait for your table your anticipation of a great meal is teased as through the sidewalk window you watch the chef and staff preparing the dishes you will soon be indecisive over. There are so many beautiful and interesting choices that as each order gets its finishing garnishes you are certain it is the one you must have. if you are seated inside you may end up sharing a table with strangers that will soon be friends or outside under the canopy and heaters you can have a romantic sidewalk cafe starry night and candlelight dream come true. The staff is friendly and stay very attentive even when short handed. The food is absolutely wonderful and the wine both good and reasonable.
This is certainly a SO-CAL destination Cafe' experience.
There is also a sister restaurant in Upland which is nice with service that is at best adequate and although not nearly as good as the Laverne restaurant it is still worth dining there if you are in that area and one of the better alternatives for the downtown Upland area.
Pros: ambiance of this sidewalk cafe is amazing
Cons: you will have to wait if busy so just take a stroll around downtown laverne

I have been eating here for almost 10 years and for a while I'd enjoy my lunch 3-4 times a week here! I love the patio seating, and the pepperoni pizza is really good (perfect crust, sauce and toppings!). The anti-pasta salad or chef salad with all sorts of delicious toppings are to die for, as well as their Italian dressing (my favorite anywhere!). The cheese bread is really good and I always ask for a side of pizza sauce to dip into (free of course). Free refills on sodas and iced tea - not a problem ever! The staff is helpful and friendly and during lunch or sporting events this place gets packed! Calling ahead is always good, as this restaurant does some serious business almost everytime I come in. TVs for sports, some video games for the kids and parking on the street or in the lot behind. A+++ for me!

My husband and I love Fukuya Shushi, the fish is so good and fresh, we call the chef Jose, and he can make anything you ask.. the service is fast and nice,we always order all you can eat sushi and they don't take long to make it... its super fast and yummy.,. :)

I had my hair done by Nichole and not only is she experienced and professional, she handles my hair unbelievably well. I have very thick straight hair, and she's got me cut, colored, and styled in about 2 hours. Nothing makes me feel better than a great salon experience without a lot of time. I've never gotten so many compliments either! Nichole, I'm your client for life!

We were staying at the Sheraton Hotel, Pomona, drove off and found this restaurant.
On walking through the door we were greeted as if we were long time customers. All the staff efficient and so friendly. We were more than happy that the dishes we ordered were all we could wish for also. It was clean, tidy and organized. The décor was warm with Thai art and artifacts on the walls and a large Gold Buddha at the back, we were sat next to the fountain. It was such an enjoyable evening we made a reservation for the follow night for the same table and it confirmed every thing I have said on here. Wish it was not so far away from Thai Town, Los Angeles, where I live work and play. .
PS, lots of parking.

Best fusion sushi and rolls I have been to in years. In searching of the perfect sushi place, I have narrowed it down to three: (1) Shogun for best fusion rolls for both fish lovers and newbies that can't eat raw fish yet, (2) Little Tokyo for best sushi, and (3) Zip - if you feel like driving to downtown LA.
On a typical weekday night, I prefer taking a 5 minute drive to Shogun for Win's Special and a Sunset Roll, and sometimes, Asahi gives a boost after long day at work. Their sushi rolls is exceptional..
Occasionally, like Sunday family brunch, I would take my big family to eat teppan at Shogun.. You can't beat the lunch deal at shogun... good show, good food, and good price.. just arrive before 3PM to make sure you get the lunch menu. Almost the same as dinner, but WAY CHEAPER! I always get NY steak or Filet Mignon and Lobster Tail..
I always have a great time at shogun... just want to let the words out.. This is the hidden find of La Verne.

I have been associated with La Verne Glass for over 16 years. I use them on everyone of my projects and last year we built 6.5 million in homes for individuals. Not bad for a small company who depends on quality and reliability in the companies we deal with. I run the construction and have an in-house crew of 12 men. La Verne Glass and Screen is the only company they would ever call for a repair or new install. I buy my windows elsewhere because of a commitment I have with a different local company, but all shower doors, repairs, screens and glass related items come from Marcus at La Verne Glass and Screen. They have washed both of my cars for almost a year, one time I saw a small smudge and they immediately cleaned it for me and gave me a free wash for my next visit. The manager explained to me that they prefer long term customers. They are obviously not there to make a quick buck and pass you on.
Pros: biggest and coolest car wash facility I've ever been to.
