The next time you are looking for a great fast food / ice cream place - try the Control Tower. IT is located right behind the airport - so the kids love watching the planes fly in. Their food is great - we've had both dinner and ice cream there and it's always good. They are inexpensive too which makes it an even better find.

I love to support local business and will continue to go to the Tower for ice cream but we've had terrible luck with the food. Hot dogs that I'd be embarrassed to serve (how hard is a hot dog?), burgers burned on the outside, raw on the inside... Fish fries overcooked... Each year we've gone back to try it and this year after another terrible meal have decided we'll stick to ice cream and watch the planes. On the Farm, a few miles east, has much better food.

I love to support local business and will continue to go to the Tower for ice cream but we've had terrible luck with the food. Hot dogs that I'd be embarrassed to serve (how hard is a hot dog?), burgers burned on the outside, raw on the inside... Fish fries overcooked... Each year we've gone back to try it and this year after another terrible meal have decided we'll stick to ice cream and watch the planes. On the Farm, a few miles east, has much better food.
