Before going there I was more than a bit suspicious. I mean really, a restaurant in a replica of the Eiffel Tower. How good could it really be, especially when the restaurant at the REAL Eiffel Tower has bad food and horrible service. But after sitting down to eat I was impressed. The menu options were great. The prices weren't excessive and the wine list was amazing. It was nice, too, that they had wine by the glass list that changed nightly and included some of their best wines; perfect for those of us who might not want to drop $300 on a bottle of wine (or $19,000, the most expensive bottle!). The food tasted great from salad to souffle and the service was also top notch. They also had a live piano player and chanteuse that sounded good. The only down side was the "professional" picture they took of us, which didn't turn out well. Even that, though, they didn't charge us for when they saw that it didn't turn out.
Pros: Great View, Great Food, Great Service
Cons: Not cheap, but still a great value

The place was so loud I had to shout to be heard by my dinner companions. There was the woman in the sequined hot pants walking around taking pictures of everyone, but since all the tables face forward you got the full effect of every flash bulb right in your face. The dress code wasn't enforced. Nothing like paying $450 for dinner for three and having to look at some hairy guy in a tank top.
The wine prices were beyond obscene. Hundreds of bottles and only a few for less than $100, most over $200. The sommelier asked if I had any questions and I said yes, only one: Have you no shame?
I took my wife and my son there for our 25th wedding anniversary. I made reservations well in advance and told them what it was we were celebrating. We were given one of the worst tables in the place (it was rickety and wobbled) and there was no recognition from the staff.
The food was wonderful. It showed imagination and was artfully presented. The staff, however, didn't know how to serve it. We ordered wine by the glass, but the wines were delivered well after the food. We had our dishes a full ten minutes before the wine showed up, appetizers and entrees alike.
My wife and son ordered souffles for dessert, which had to be ordered in advance. I did not, so the staff just assumed I did not want dessert. The souffles were on the table by the time I finally got someone's attention and was given the dessert menu. My wife and son finished their souffles before my dessert arrived. In keeping with the theme the dessert wine arrived after my dessert did, but at least I got to enjoy some of it with my dessert. My son's dessert wine didn't arrive until after he had finished his souffle.
It's obvious management is trying to maximize profit potential at the expense of guest comfort. Tables are jammed in everywhere making it loud and uncomfortable. But why not? Most everyone there is a tourist and will never be back. I am a local, however, and I won't ever be back, either.
Pros: View, food
Cons: Everything else. Service, ambience, noise, prices, kids running around, etc...

The food here was extraordinary! I love game foods, and found rabbit on the menu so ordered that. It was lovely! We noticed an older woman struggling to read the menu at a table next to us and the waiter came to her with a tray of 5 different sets of reading glasses!! Can you believe that?! One drawback: I love champagne and they only offer three by the glass: One at $12, one at $21, and one at $29. I ordered the $12 glass from Arizona which was awful so I sent it back, then ordered the $29 glass from France which was a little better, but still not clean and light and dry, as I prefer. This place still gets 4 stars from me -- it's great.
Pros: View of Bellagio fountains if you sit on the glass, great service
Cons: Oddly, below-par champagne by the glass

I was there with my husband and our friend for lunch on our last day in Vegas! As we came out of the elevator, I was amazed by the view, it was incredible! As we sat down and got our drinks, we sampled cheese puffs and parmesean flan from the chef which was divine. I wound up ordering a checkerboard finger sandwiches, my husband got parmesean crusted chix pallaird with a lobster bisque and our friend ordered an oceanside seafood salad. All of our entrees were delicious!!! They had generous portions and my dish was creative, tasty and simply amazing! It's a bit pricey, but for the succulent food, glorious view and the senusal ambiance, it was definately worth it. I can't wait to go back!!!

I ate at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant (ETR) at on 12/26/07, after arriving in town that same day. I did not think I would need a reservation, as I came to Las Vegas on 12/26/06, staying for 3 nights and never needing a dinner reservation as all of the restaurants I saw were half empty. For some reason this year, Vegas was very crowded immediately after Christmas, so I called ahead for a reservation and was told the earliest they could accomodate me was 9 p.m. They also required a credit card number to hold the reservation, which was a new practice to me, even though I have dined at many high end restaurants in Vegas over the years. Before leaving for Las Vegas, I had perused the online menu at ETR and was leaning toward Beef Wellington as my entree. After being seated, however, our waiter (who has been with ETR since its 1999 opening) suggested the chef's tasting menu. He promised that we would not leave hungry, citing other chef's tasting menus around town that left the customer both hungry and lighter in the wallet. I was initially put off by the $98 per person price, but realized I would probably spend that much for the wellington ($54) and its accompanying a la carte starters and sides. My guests and I all elected for the 7 course tasting menu, which consisted of food portions that got bigger with each course. Remembering the details of each course is difficult, but they included a sampler of seafood, a celery soup, a salad, a filet of sturgeon, venison loins, and a chocolate souffle for dessert. When we got done, were so full that we could barely walk out of the restaurant. On a different note, I read in a previous review how expensive the alcohol was, so none of us ordered any. My only dislike was the incessant amount of flash photography (everyone wants their group pictures taken there) in such a dark setting. But on a culinary level, the food was excellent, gave a great sampling of the tastes of the restaurant, and well worth the $98 per person.
Pros: Excellent food, great view of Bellagio's fountains
Cons: Too much flash photography from other tables was a distraction

This note is for expressing how disappointed I am with the service that I received in the restaurant, I appear with my girlfriend to have dinner on December 31th at night. Hoping that this moment will be spectacular and inclusively so excited to pop up the question. But unfortunately my girlfriend found a large piece of plastic in its main plate, at that time I felt that everything is going bad, so I decided not to make the question and to hope that the night improves. Honestly I did not expect that something like that happen, not in a restaurant of its category, not when you pay $600.00. I was trying to impress my girlfriend, but unfortunately everything went bad.
Finally the waiter just change the plate, but didn't offe anything else, for example if you go to an average restaurant or may be a chain restaurant, if something like that happen, they would offer you the plate for free or may be offer you some drinks, or something else.
Pros: views
Cons: Bad customer service

Very cool atmosphere outside and inside, albeit a bit noisy because the tables are close. The window wall has stunning views of the Strip and the Bellagio fountains, especially at night. Made reservations months ago and they were promptly honored. But, that's about the best I can give for this restaurant. I know it's Vegas. But $14.95 for one ordinary Tanquray & Tonic? I got the exact same drink in an identical glass in the casino downstairs for $8.50 -- free when I was playing the slots. $44.00 for 5oz of filet mignon; $46.00 for a 7oz bone-in Ribeye? And that's just the meat. $6.00 for a single portion of potatoes and mushrooms? each. So? two people, one shared appetizer, two dinners from the menu, two sides, one shared dessert, no drinks of any kind -- $144.00. Sorry, go to Del Frisco?s or Charlie Palmer?s Steakhouse. Oh, and another thing, the elegance of the restaurant and black tie staff is lost because they don?t enforce a dress code. Come on, jeans and t-shirts during dinner? Guys in tank tops at the bar? This seriously diminishes the experience.
Pros: View of the Strip and the Bellagio fountains is excellent; Baked to order desserts.
Cons: Value. Way overpriced. Tables are close, can be noisy.

I was looking forward to having a nice meal and wine/champagne at dinner. We had reservations and arrived on time, but had to sit and wait 10 minutes for our table to be cleaned (I let it go, I know things aren't always perfect) But what really bothered me was the older gentleman that was our waiter. We may be in our early 20's but we are classier than most older diners I often see, and typically tip 20%!!! I don't know what this gentleman's problem was, but I had to ASK for the wine list and when I said I needed another minute to look it over (and set it down) HE JUST TOOK IT! He was rude to us all dinner (blatantly paying more attention to older patrons) Needless to say, good food (same quality you get at any quality steak house) but rude, prejudice service.
