There are two (to my knowledge) Hofbrauhaus's in the US... I've been to both and am posting reviews on both. To me, the Hofbrauhaus in Las Vegas doesn't hold a candle to the one in Newport, KY. For starters, we were seated in the main room, where a VERY LOUD German band started playing shortly after we sat down. They didn't offer us an option of being seated away from this. And while I understand it is part of the experience, it was honestly so loud that it kept my food from digesting properly and made me ill... The food was, at best, ok. It just didn;t measure up to the amazing quality I saw at the other Hofbrauhaus location. As far as German food in general, I would call it average. My husband did try some of their own beer... and he said that was very good.. Overall, though, I really was quite disappointed. My husband had not been to the Hofbrauhaus in Kentucky as I had... and I kept telling him what a treat we were in for... and it ended up being a rather big letdown :/
