Thai cuisine refers to typical foods, beverages, and cooking styles common to the country of Thailand in Southeast Asia. Thai Cuisine is well-known for being hot and spicy and for its balance of five fundamental flavors in each dish or the overall meal - spicy, sour, sweet, salty, and bitter. Other dishes from the northern part of Thailand include unique sauces and exotic foods. Vietnamese cuisine is a style of cooking derived from fish sauce, soy sauce, rice, fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables are commonly used. The most common meats used in Vietnamese cuisine are pork, chicken, shrimp, and various kinds of seafood. Beef is used less commonly, save for pho and the famed Bo 7 mon "Seven-course beef". Their restaurant provide the highest quality Greater Mekong Subregion's dishes such as Vietnamese Pho, Thai Tom Yum, Lao Papaya Salad, and Chinese Steamed Ginger Fish.
