me and my husband got married in vegas over eight years ago, and been there two times since. our last trip we stayed at the stratosphere, and loved it there. the walls were sound proof, the room itself was very clean, and nicely decorated. i loved the pool on the roof. we stayed there for our fifth anniversary, and ate at the restaurant there called: the top of the world restaurant. that was the most memorable restaurant i have ever been to. it revolved, and you got to see the wonderful view of the strip all lit up. the steak was the best one i have ever tasted. it was very pricy, but well worth the occasion. i also rode on the ride, while my husband stood by and watched. it was a little walk from the main casinos, but we didn't mind at all.

The thrill rides on top of the Stratosphere are aweosme, and not for the faint of heart. I personally only rode the big shot, as even a ride enthusiast like myself was a little to freaked out by the other two. I went with a friend around 11am and found hardly any line to get up the elevator to the top, and only one other person waiting to get on the Big Shot. I was white as a ghost stepping out onto the outdoor platform and thouroughly enjoyed the rush of being shot up the spire of the Stratosphere. Well worth it, a must do for any ride lover in Las Vegas!!

OMG .. I haven't been on these personally but WOW.. these look absolutely CRAZY.. They are all the way on the top of the Stratosphere Tower, and even from allllllll they way on the other end of the Strip - you can still see the little arms of the ride dangling its riders off the edge of the tower!! I am way too scared to go on a roller coaster at Six Flags - let alone these! But if you love thrills then this would be something you would HAVE to do.. It looks like you are going to be thrown right off the top! There are 3 rides and I believe each one is $14 .. with 2 for $20 and 3 for $25 .. something like that..

The Stratosphere Tower proved the most amazing view of Vegas! Wow, totally breath taking! You can literally see the entire Vegas strip and for miles on a clear day. It is well worth the money to take the journey to the top, just to say that you did indeed do it! Lots of fun and crazy rides atop the Stratosphere as well as some good food!

We went to Vegas with some friends and stayed at the Stratosphere because we got the rooms for super cheap (like $29/night). The rooms were decent, nothing fancy, but that's not a big deal because when you're in Vegas, how much time do you actually spend in your room anyway? We loved the rides and did get a discount on them since we were staying in the hotel. The Big Shot is awesome! I know they've added a few more thrill rides since we were last there and I'd love to go and check them out. The downfalls of this hotel are the location (it's at the end of the strip and pretty far from everything else) and the casino was SUPER smoky compared to other casinos we visited. Overall, though, it was a good value for the money!

On my recent trip to Vegas, I decided to ride another one of the Stratosphere thrill rides, Insanity. This IS INSANE. Dangling over the edge of the Stratosphere 1,200 feet above the ground with nothing below you but a simple seat, you spin pretty quickly with nothing to catch you should the ride fail--and that thrill of knowing that there is nothing to catch you is what makes this ride INSANE.

Overlook the strip and take in the view of all of the other casinos and hotels. It's quite breathtaking and really gives you a quiet spot to look out on the bustling Vegas strip. You do have to pay to get up in the tower …and take special elevators. A few good restaurants, and I believe there is even one at the top of the tower, though we didn't eat there. Definitely worth checking out!

Last summer I stay at Stratosphere for a week during Las Vegas. This hotel has an excellent service and you can go to the towel for free during the days. The hotel provides many entertainments for customers to stay here. For example, you can use the laundry for free to wash your cloths. However, this hotel is far from the new stripe.

I have stayed at the Stratosphere several times. Most occasions it has been fine. The rooms are standard 3 star rooms. One occasion I stayed at the Stratosphere and the room was completely unsatisfactory. The toilet constantly made noise, the walls were very thin, and the air conditioner in the room was extremely loud. After relaying my complaint to the staff I was given a discounted rate for an entire year. On another occasion I had per-paid for my room, $25/night. That turned out to be the best deal, as when I arrived in the middle of the night, the only room available was the Presidential Suite! So, for $25/night I was given an incredible suite. It is a bit of a drive to the central strip, but as long as you have a car it is not bad. If you don't have a car, I 'd choose somewhere else to stay.
