So I was craving sushi at 2:30a.m. and was out with a friend who had never had sushi before, after deciding to be adventurous we looked up "late night sushi las vegas" on my handy dandy blackberry and up pops Kaizen Fusion. We were right around the corner from their perfect and easily accessible location. Once inside the vibe was hip yet still authentic. We sat at the sushi bar, which is the best place to sit, and received excellent service from the start. The menu is abundent, and has beginner items to adventurously exotic, with the prices remaining reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Pros: Example: best croissants in town
Cons: What are the drawbacks?

This Kaizen is not as good as the one off of Eastern because the sushi chefs aren't as friendly. The food is still excellent though and the prices are okay.

As a chef I was excited to go here based soley on the reviews I read. To say I was unimpressed is an understatement. I went with a open mind and 20 years of kitchen experiance yet was taken aback by how filthy the open kitchen was. No Sushi case for the fish whatsoever meaning they consistantly hold at the wrong temp. I also observed the dirty cooks wiping there hand on they're chef coats and scratching they're face before touching raw fish!
I ate my Tempura of no flavor for fear the sashimi would make me sick!. Once again people associate ambiance with good food! Not the case here............Just bad food served by a pretty staff that does not care as long as they keep getting money. What
a shame because I was looking forward to good sushi....
Pros: Great Location
Cons: Worst Sushi in Town

Kaizen is tucked away in a strip mall across from the Hard Rock. I'd imagine most tourists don't get to experience it because it isn't inside a casino, and it doesn't say much from the outside. However, the interior is really nice! casual, but not a dump! cozy, but se x y! the food is also espectacular. I loved the baked rolls! I can't remember everything I tried but everything was delicious!! The Lychee martini was great, and all their TyKu cocktails and shots are good! the staff is also very friendly!! We try to go back every time we are in vegas!
Pros: Food, Drinks, service, proximity to the Hard Rock, ambience
Cons: trying to get a taxi to come pick you up!!! they like to go to the Hard Rock better!
