So I was craving sushi at 2:30a.m. and was out with a friend who had never had sushi before, after deciding to be adventurous we looked up "late night sushi las vegas" on my handy dandy blackberry and up pops Kaizen Fusion. We were right around the corner from their perfect and easily accessible location. Once inside the vibe was hip yet still authentic. We sat at the sushi bar, which is the best place to sit, and received excellent service from the start. The menu is abundent, and has beginner items to adventurously exotic, with the prices remaining reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Pros: Example: best croissants in town
Cons: What are the drawbacks?

Went on a Monday night for a romantic dinner, so the place was not that busy but service was kind of slow. The ambience was very nice with soft lighting. Ordered 3 sushi rolls (little buddha roll and king's roll and the spicy tuna.) All very delicious. My boyfriend and I thought the portion was small when it first came out, but we had a hard time finishing it b/c the rolls were so big. The wait was a bit long for the rolls but it was worth it.
The cons....as a big restaurant diner, i like to check out the restrooms and see their design but they dont have one...you have to go out into the casino. In addition, the cheap wooden chopsticks and "chinese take out" soy sauce containers were a turn off. For a really nice place I thought they should provide lacquer chopsticks and put soy sauce in a nice glass container. Maybe i'm just being too critical...
Vegas gets to you like that. You expect the best of the best every where you go.
But definately the food is to die for!
Pros: food
Cons: service (nice staff but slow service)

The tofu dish we had was really tasty as was the side dishes of pickled vegetables... quite a bit more than I expected! and the staff helped us order since we were not too familiar with Korean food. All in all a treat for myself and my vegetarian friend.
Pros: Fresh food, Decent Variety
Cons: Quieter, Off-strip

The food at Santoki is delicious & reasonably priced. Although a while back they were admittedly overpriced, now, after the new menu & properly modified prices, it is truly an excellent Korean restaurant that I would definitely recommend for everyone to try it out. The service is great as well; they are very friendly & attentive. I usually go eat here for dinner most of the time, but I have recently tried their lunch specials and the dish itself was actually really cheap, but it was a big plate of food that I couldn't even finish it all. The food quality was also excellent both lunch & dinner. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this restaurant & I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
Pros: good food, reasonable price, clean

to "dagny8t": this is a locals place. People who come here are regulars. So... needless to say, you need to walk in like you belong there. Walk with confidence, make eye-contact with anyone there (owners or green shirts <<--bussers / waiters are the same) and mouth the number of members in your party.
They will seat you immediately depending if the house is full or not. The same waiters/bussers have been there for years and they always remember me and my order. A #10 Pho dac biet<3 YUM. A flavorful broth with delicate rice noodles and a plethora of assorted beef, fatty beef, trip and tendon. Always served piping hot with onion, cilantro, and a plate of fresh been sprouts, jalapenos, lime, viet mint, and viet basil. Salivating yet? Needless to say, I come here all the time.
Their appetizers are just as delicious. Try the Viet Egg Rolls served with radish, cucumber, mint, basil, and lettuce. And their spring rolls are fantastic as well! Juicy and delicious shrimp with rice noodles, basic, and other delicious fillers and the most flavorful peanut dipping sauce ever created.
:)
Pros: Affordable, Flavorful foods, Menu Variety

I love this restaurant! We've bee going there for the past 2-3 years and have seen the transformation it's had. It went from being just your neighborhood hole in the wall restaurant to the really nice looking restaurant it is now. The food is very reasonably priced, the service is very quick and the food is delicious! I've never eaten anything here that I didn't enjoy. My favorite is of course the pho, followed by the vermicelli, mongolian beef and the salt & pepper pork chops. I would def. recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys really good food without breaking the bank.
Pros: Great food at a great price

Even if you never have tried Vietnamese cuisine, this is the place to enjoy some authentic dishes. They keep all the "interesting" ingrediants on the side so you can add them as you wish. The food tastes so fresh. The Pho (pronounced "FAH") is basically a noodle soup with different ingrediants of your choice. It's warm and might be better than chicken soup to cure whatever ails you! The restaurant is actually a cozy corner of The Coffee Shop at TI. The wait staff is friendly and effecient, and you KNOW it's good when you see different nationalities trying the authentic Vietnames food!
Pros: Authentic Vietnamese with friendly service.
Cons: Might be a little pricey, but a bargain compared to most restaurants on LV Blvd.

Tofu Hut is a neat place to experience Korean food. I have not been a big fan of tofu until i had lunch at the Tofu Hut. The service is great, and the food was enjoyeable. They serve huge proportions. I was quite stuffed when I left. i went with a Korean friend who ordered everything in korean. I was pleasantly surprised at the food.
