My fiancé and I went to Origin India for my twenty-fifth birthday and it was definitely the best place for a romantic and unforgettable experience. I had an impeccable dining experience with exquisite and artistic presentation in an inviting and vibrant atmosphere. Origin India’s stylish modern décor offers a complete setting for any occasion. The food was delectable! They had impeccable service with innovative takes on traditional Indian cuisine. For our appetizer, we had the Grilled Canadian Rock Lobster and Shoulder of Lamb Seekh Kebab. They were both fantastic! For our entrées we had the Home Style Chicken Curry which was by far the curry I have ever had! My fiancé ordered the Moulard Duck Leg Confit and he loved it so much that he ate everything on his plate. With every course we became more impressed with the food, both in taste and presentation. I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys traditional Indian dishes.
Pros: Very innovative takes on traditional Indian cuisine
Cons: None

My husband (he is an Indian) and I are vegetarians and love Indian food. When we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. We had the vegetable samosa as an appetizer and "Recession Lunch", which was $5.99. This included a salad, a nan bread (quartered), a cup of rice, and the vegetable dish. We had the vegetable korma and Aloo Kawli. For drinks, we got the mango lassi and a porter (Polygamy Porter, I am not kidding check it out!, Their slogan is Bet you can't have just one!) The food arrived in 5-10 minutes. The salad was fresh, nan bread was warm and soft, the vegetable dish was fantastic. We cant stop salivating over it even after 24 hours! The price for the entire dinner was <$30. Which, I think is reasonable considering it was a specialty beer from Utah.
This place is great. Definitely check it out.
Pros: Great tasting vegetarian dish
Cons: none I can think of

I ate here for the first time yesterday after seeing it for many years. Some of the best Indian my wife and I have ever had, and likely the best in Vegas that we have had. The dishes were very tasty, and had a fresh and flavorful quality to them. The decor is very nice and they have redone the outside (so it looks nothing like the picture). I found the service to be polite and friendly. The naan was good, but not great, certainly not the best I have ever had, but the other dishes were very good. Overall, very good.
Pros: Delicious food
Cons: Less than ideal location, mediocre bread

I discovered The Samosa Factory after doing a web search when I arrived in Vegas for business. I grew up eating Indian food and eat it at least once a week at my local Tandoori.
I was surprised to find so many Indian restaurants in my search but was delighted to pick TSF.
The food is all freshly cooked using great natural ingredients and the service is warm and friendly. The vegetarian options are great (I'm a veggie) and the vegan and meat lists extensive also..
I ate there twice on my last trip and again this evening when I was back in town with my son and his friends to celebrate his 21st. They all loved it and are eating the copious leftovers right now in their room.
We'll definitely be back - thanks!

We ate at this Indian Restaurant while in Las Vegas. I had never eaten Indian food, however, I completely enjoyed it. The food was good and the service was excellent. Our party of 4 ordered 3 entrees and shared them so we could taste a variety of things.

At first glance, I almost would have passed them by as yet another restaurant near Sahara . Metaphorically of course. Kicked in the face with the aroma of a slew of Indian spices, right when I opened the door. Looking closer though, they have some innovative products like sev puri which you cannot see in other Indian restaurants.
Sketchy neighborhood aside, this may very well be my new favorite restaurant. We went on a Sunday night--there was plenty of business, but we didn't have to wait for a table. It's not a fancy restaurant (although it looked pretty clean and spiffy to me), but the smell of the food knocks you flat and proceeds to permeate your entire being, until you smell like curry and MAGIC.
I asked for medium to hot on the spicy scale Lamb chops and medium chicken tikka masala and I could not have asked for it to be more accurate. It was absolutely delicious.
Pros: great aroma captivates you
Cons: I live in California

I visited the India Oven recently. I found the service to be excellent & the food very good. We ordered off the menu & it all tasted like it was supposed too! (unlike India Palace!) I certainly will be going back there for my Indian meals. Everything is reasonably priced.
Pros: Great Staff & Food

With a restaurant of this quality in our neighborhood (Southwest Las Vegas) on Sahara at Rainbow, why should I cook?. The buffet of Indian cuisine, with more than 20 delicious items, was a feast! We will return to Bollywood Grill again and again and again.

Comparable to Indian restaurants in big cities. I'm a firm believer that even a bad Indian restaurant is good but this place is no disappointment. The service is very spotty but the food is wonderful and very flavorful. Highly recommended within the Indian community. I have a Sikh friend who has Gandhi cater all of his large gatherings. Wonderful veggie menu. The pakoras, saag paneer, and mattar paneer are my favorites. They don't do a poori bread unfortunately, which is one of my favorite treats. The mango lassi is one of the best I've had. They do a nice lunch buffet too for around $9.
Pros: Food is very good, cool atmosphere.
Cons: Not the best service. Very slow at times.
