I've been to Marrakesh twice and both times the food was fabulous. They even had belly-dancers. It was a fun atmosphere. You basically sit on the floor and they serve you like a 7-course meal. I tried things I'd never tried before and loved everything. Great service and reasonable prices.

In Vegas for the first time ever for my wedding, our chatty limo driver suggested this place to us. We were SO SO SO glad he did.
You pull into the parking lot and see this little building...appearances can be deceiving ;)
You enter into a small area and ring the doorbell...what happens next? Well that's part of the fun of this place - a throwback to the "gangster" days of the 20s & 30s.
With a party of 5 we were seated almost immediately (and mind you this was Halloween night). As the night went on the place filled up, but we were NEVER made to feel like they were rushing us out the door. The lighting is dim and the menus come with an attached flashlight to help you to see. The dishes are properly named and got a chuckle from us. Since it was Halloween they offered us drinks and we each ordered a "Zombie" martini. The martinis came to us and were green and smoking (a little piece of dry ice) and had an eyeball floating in it. Perfect for the occasion!
I have a thing for Alfredo and HAD to try theirs...it was some of the BEST Alfredo sauce I have ever tasted. You can add a meat of your choice for a couple extra dollars to most of the pasta dishes.
My entire party was delighted with the food and ate the generous helpings till we were stuffed. We all felt it was one of those meals where its soooo good that even though you're stuffed beyond stuffed you don't want to stop eating it because it's just THAT good. We also sampled each others' dishes and every bit of it was amazing. My sister-in-law joked with our waitress "you have 'mama' hidden away in that kitchen dont you!".
The service was EXCELLENT, our water cups were consistently filled and our waitress was an absolute pleasure. We told her they should open a Capo's in Jersey...it would surely make a killing (pun intended ;)!
The "Frank Sinatra" was great entertainment as he walked from table to table and sang Sinatra, Darin and the like.
It was a little bit on the expensive side, but we were glad to pay our bill as we felt every penny was well worth it. Plus they threw in some free Cannolis to celebrate my wedding! Everything about this place was delicious.
I will recommend this place to anyone I know and will definitely be going there the next time I'm in Vegas. A+++'s all around for Capo's.
Pros: Food, service, ambiance - everything!
Cons: a little pricey

Some places keep you coming back for the food - some for the ambiance - some the location; Nora's Wine Bar has it all - Fantastic authentic Italian food, a huge selection of well-priced wines, reasonable prices, friendly, detail-oriented service, perfect location, and, above-all, a staff that remembers you and makes you feel like it's your home away from home.
Go on Tuesday nights when they have free tastings and offer wines at 30% off. They even sell all their wines retail as well!! Who knew!!!

i couldn't say enough about this wonderful little Thai restaurant. My girlfriend is vegetarian and she loved this place. We weren't really looking for a vegetarian restaurant but found this one to be a gem in this overpriced town. The menu here is extensive (entres alone were 3 pages of the menu). i had a hard time making a decision because i knew whatever i ordered i would love. They have an equally impressive vegetarian menu. After spending $13 for a hamburger i was amazed that every menu item was less than $15. The portions are filling and our server caught every detail right on. This was a nice quiet atmosphere, small inside, older building but clean too. This place is easy to miss and not lit-up well. It is in a little strip mall type place off the main road (Sahara). However, there is no waiting for a table, and intimate customer service (just what we were looking for). I proudly recommend this restaurant to everyone. i am happy to support this family run business and will return every time i am here. [did i mention the food was awesome?!!!!]
Pros: Food, Price, Service, Intimate, Family owned/run, Food left over (u will want more later)
Cons: Not easy to find right away-

My best friend, lollipop, loves to take hammers into stores at the mall and threaten people.....the squirrel dont burp till the octopus chirps!!!
*REMEMBER- if the lion eats too many stickers, then the cookies explode and have no where to go......then the meatloaf says to the cat, "I wish I had an apple!!" the cat replies, "nope. you dont. because one day, mine farted on me, so i threw it away, but now its haunting my stepdad. dont get an apple." the meatloaf thought about this and said,"my brother likes pineapple"............then the cow jumped over the ipod, yada yada yada and now the calculator jogs daily.
THE END!
Pros: Ink cartridges look funny when you burn them & dip in water
Cons: sometimes after u drink the water you feel funny-not good

What a find - it was our second choice (our first was sold out) and we're so glad this Christmas dinner was the highlight of our weekend (even though they didn't have a 'holiday menu' - that was fine - we could've gone to any Station property for that). We couldn't have asked for a better waitress - Merrie, what a wonderful server...and person...she is. We had a table right by the window - overlooking the course and waterfall - to bad it was too dark to really appreciate. The intimate feel of the 'club' made it extra special - although I would not want to sit out by the lobby/bar area - considering the cost of the meal vs. the noise level out there. Wow - the courses were all excellent. We had most of Merrie's recommendations - the Kobe beef carpaccio and the quail with wild mushroom and fruit chutney (although it says boneless - watch out, I got a few), the sweet corn chowder and the bibb salad - excellent. We had the sea bass and the filet mignon - done perfectly, and our side was the truffled cream spinach = a wonderful compliment to our meal. The 'Real' cheesecake - was good, but average, but the Chocolate Bombolone - bite-sized donut holes - filled with molten chocolate and lightly sugar dusted - that you 'pop' in your mouth - to die for. A somewhat out of the way location - way in the back of the resort, by the convention and meeting space - but that's a good thing maybe (Merrie said she doesn't get many locals to dine - as we are) - quiet and intimate and luxurious (rumor has it it's Steve's favorite)...
Pros: Thumb's way up - for service, atmosphere, cuisine - everything
Cons: none...

This place is a diamond in the rough. If you ask anyone in the downtown area where you can get good chinese and thai food, they'll point you here. The Thai food here is authentic and delicious! Thai Vegas is packed on weekdays at noon because of lunch specials.
<br>They've got very friendly service especially on weekends. The chefs here will leave something so superb in your stomach you'll have to come back for more! It's not the fanciest place in town but the food is definetly worth trying :)

Sumo Sushi2 is the second location of their main restaurant on Green Valley and Sunset. One of the head sushi chefs, Johnny from the original Sumo Sushi, manages this location. Friendly staff, same great menu, in a newer, trendier location decorated with a 2,000 gallon aquarium. Easier from customers on the south west part of town to get to. Although this location is newer I still prefer the original Sumo's in Green Valley.
Pros: Fresh sushi, quality fish, imaginative sushi rolls
Cons: non
