After leaving a nightclub in Vegas and finding yourself on the strip at 4am still ready to party, Drais is the place to go. It was pretty crowded and there were two different rooms. At the main dance floor, the music was mostly techno or of that nature. There was a hip hop room towards the back and it was pretty big as the main part. It still felt like you just started the night out and when you leave you go outside to sunlight. It was wonderful and I had the best time. I would highly recommend Drais, which is located inside Bills Gamblin Hotel by Flamingo.

A group of us now have a tradition when we go to Vegas and that is that Saturday night we have dinner at The Mix! Definetly the way to top the weekend in Vegas. We went back for the second time last week and we were seated at the same table as 5 months ago! But that was not just the same coincidence, the service was just as good, the food was just as tasty and the view is what we remembered. There is a limited menu but if you want selection stick to a buffet and do not come here! After dinner we step into the lounge right next door (make sure to go the bathroom, the best view ever and its there!!) The staff is very friendly and not uptight. They do not rush you out and the service is excellent. At the end of dinner if you do not order desert, its OK you will still get a treat with hazelnut chocolate!
Pros: Best view from any location (restaurant, lounge and Bathroom)
Cons: A bit pricey for the amount of food and limited menu

My boyfriend and I ate here for his birthday last year in August. We were staying at the MGM and were early for our reservation. Within a few minutes we were sat at a table. The server was very polite and friendly. We ordered the summer tasting tasting menu that changes every season and every course as served family style. For the first course we had grilled quail, roasted red peppers, and a cucumber salad. All were simple and tasty. For the main we had grilled filet, roasted chicken, and diver scallops plus sides. We ordered the steak rare and it came out perfect. The steak came out sliced, it was seasoned well, and cut like butter. The roasted chicken was delicious and moist; the scallops were cooked well. As sides we had the potato puree, sauteed corn, and roasted mushrooms; all of which were excellent. The dessert was chef's choice. We had bread pudding and a berry crisp with vanilla ice cream. There was definitely a lot of food and the tasting menu was only $65 per person (and only $30 more per person for wine pairings for each course). The whole experience was pleasant. The service was excellent. The staff was very attentive and knowledgable. I have definitely recommended this place to friends and family.
Pros: Quality food
Cons: None

My friend and I went Jan. 09 during our Vegas trip. Both of us being foodies, Bouchon was on the top of our list of restaurants to go based on their reputation (thanks, Anthony Bourdain!). We were not disappointed. We went during brunch time. Both the hostess and our waiter were courteous and friendly. We ordered the Czar Nicholas Sturgeon to split, which was one of the specials. The waiter brought us homemade jam and butter. Our fish was well cooked and the flavors balanced perfectly with each other. My friend, who is not as cultured as I am when it comes to food said it was the best meal he's every had. I would have to agree that is one of the best meals I have ate at a restaurant. The whole experience was perfect.
Also at the Venetian is Bouchon Bakery. We went there several times to have something quick to grab and go. The pastries were excellent. Too bad the city we live does not have Thomas Keller's restaurant. We would come back again and again.
Pros: Excellent food and service.
Cons: Bit difficult to find in the hotel.

this place was recommended to me by my co-worker, my hubby and I went there last night and WE LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE!!!
the parking space looked packed but we were seated right away within 5 mins, the place is big inside, every table has a little candle which made it romantic but the place is loud with festive music and place has great decor and set up makes u feel that the place is authentic mexican..chips, salsa and refried beans were offered and it's the best especially their house salsa!! our server is very friendly, salsa and refried beans were refilled quickly yes we asked for a refill that's how good it was, my hubby ordered the carne asada plate and he loved it too, i ordered the pollo asado quesadilla and it was the BOMB!!
server very attentive and gave us refills on our drinks before it's even halfway done etc..
this is our new fave Mexican resto :)
DEFINITELY A 5 STAR RESTO
Pros: EVERYTHING IS GOOD from parking, to ambience, servers, food literally everything! u won't regret going to this place
Cons: NO CONS

`Omakase` normally means you're sitting at a sushi bar, letting the chef choose delicious things for you to eat. At Sushi Roku it means you've opted to submit yourself to some of their best food with an extremely slick presentation. A breakdown of my most recent meal;
0 Course: complimentary chamagne; added water and plum wine to the drink roster as well. (Their plum wine is delicious, don't miss it.)
1st course: fresh scallop / tuna belly / foie gras wrapped in yellowtail. This last item deserves special note, easily being one of the most delicious things I've had the privledge to eat.
2nd course: light salad with slices of sea bass, ginger dressing.
3rd course: very thinly sliced pieces of halibut, a dab of spicy daikon on each. Looked unusual as I wasn't familiar with the slicing technique. Delicious.
4th: blackened, baked cod - so tender it flaked apart at the touch. First impression was astonishment that an upscale sushi place would sell cod, one of the most common seaside fish in the world. Whatever they did to this fish has made me a fan for life. It couldn't top the foie gras / yellowtail, but it certainly gave a mighty try.
5th: `volcano cake` (warm chocolate cake with liquid chocolate filling) for dessert.
I'm already planning a visit on my next trip to Vegas. If you love sushi, go to Sushi Roku. If you want to avoid the crowds and scene-folk, go on a Monday or Tuesday. The place was very open at 7pm but filled up quickly after dark.
Pros: Great view of the strip, best sushi in Vegas
Cons: A few too many scene-folk

My fiancé and I went to Origin India for my twenty-fifth birthday and it was definitely the best place for a romantic and unforgettable experience. I had an impeccable dining experience with exquisite and artistic presentation in an inviting and vibrant atmosphere. Origin India’s stylish modern décor offers a complete setting for any occasion. The food was delectable! They had impeccable service with innovative takes on traditional Indian cuisine. For our appetizer, we had the Grilled Canadian Rock Lobster and Shoulder of Lamb Seekh Kebab. They were both fantastic! For our entrées we had the Home Style Chicken Curry which was by far the curry I have ever had! My fiancé ordered the Moulard Duck Leg Confit and he loved it so much that he ate everything on his plate. With every course we became more impressed with the food, both in taste and presentation. I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys traditional Indian dishes.
Pros: Very innovative takes on traditional Indian cuisine
Cons: None

My wife and I just got back from a trip to Vegas and ate at Hugo's Cellar for the first time. I'm not sure about the two reviews before mine (They seem to have a personal beef with someone). Our experience was great. We had reservations, but arrived early and were seated anyway without issue by a friendly hostess. Our two servers were Michael and Anthony. Both of them were very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and proper restaurant etiquette. Our food was cooked to perfection and was equally as tasty. Our salad's and everyone else's salad (that I could see) were prepared in front of the tables. The price was not cheap, but at the same time I have ate at many other Vegas restaurants that cost more with much less to offer. We rarely travel off the Strip to eat, but from now on Hugo's Cellar will be one of our destinations every time we visit Vegas
Pros: Great food and Service
Cons: Downtown and not on the Strip

We went on a recent Vegas vacay, four of us total. We were seated about 15 minutes after putting our name in although it looked like the wait would have been much longer. Got a great little booth in a quiet section in the back of the hotel, which was fabulous. We all got drinks, which were good, except mine was way too sweat (Pomegranate Champagne drink). Got appetizers of the mashed potato spring rolls and edemame, both of which were really good. Our server was very friendly, attentive, and timely. I got the spring roll appetizers which were surprisingly good. My boyfriend got the southwestern salad which was SOOOO good!!! I was craving it days later. Our friends good some good plates as well, but didn't taste them. Overall it was a very reasonably priced meal, great service, and a good time. I wanted to go back before we left but we just didn't have time. We also realized there's a Grand Lux in Great Neck, NY close to were we all live, so I'm sure we'll try this place again soon afterall! Definately recommend this place. So much to chose from and the prices are fair.
Pros: Great choices, good prices, attentive service, generous portions
Cons: Not much. Some oft the drinks are a little too sweet.
