Whenever we're looking at a new place to eat, like everyone we look at the sorroundings wait time price , etc, We found the Top of the World to be very nice inside, the view outside was spectacular, and the food however very pricey was excellent. The cuts of meat were perfect. And the seafood was out of the ocean that morning it seemed. We dont mind paying high prices for good food, and this was some of the best we'd ever had, and we've eaten at some very upscale resturants over the past 31 years together. Our meal at the Top of the World was an anniversary dinner, which we enjoyed the whole experience from beginning to end.

I've lived in Las Vegas for 16 years now and this has to be my favorite spot. the place is cute and comforting and the food was amazing. If your a family looking for budget meals don't go here. A lot of these reviews on here say it's over priced, It's not. If you go anywhere else you're going to pay a good amount for an appetizer and wine. this place the wine comes with the meal and so does bread, soup or salad, and a cappucinno at the end. So I think paying 30 dollars for all that isn't bad at all. the sauce was perfect, not to light not to heavy. the portion sizes were very big and the service was excellent. The waiter wasn't overbearing but asked a few times through out the meal if we were okay. for all the tourists coming to Las Vegas, stick to your Olive Garden and Bucca di beppo. If you can't appreciate good old style Las Vegas Italian food then stay away.
Pros: big portion sizes, great prices, good wine for being free, nice service
Cons: It was a little dark

Before going there I was more than a bit suspicious. I mean really, a restaurant in a replica of the Eiffel Tower. How good could it really be, especially when the restaurant at the REAL Eiffel Tower has bad food and horrible service. But after sitting down to eat I was impressed. The menu options were great. The prices weren't excessive and the wine list was amazing. It was nice, too, that they had wine by the glass list that changed nightly and included some of their best wines; perfect for those of us who might not want to drop $300 on a bottle of wine (or $19,000, the most expensive bottle!). The food tasted great from salad to souffle and the service was also top notch. They also had a live piano player and chanteuse that sounded good. The only down side was the "professional" picture they took of us, which didn't turn out well. Even that, though, they didn't charge us for when they saw that it didn't turn out.
Pros: Great View, Great Food, Great Service
Cons: Not cheap, but still a great value

Battista's Hole in the Wall has a cozy atmosphere. They have a special which is very low priced, it includes: salad, bread, main course, all you can drink wine, and a homemade cappuccino. There is also an older gentleman who plays the accordion. The service was pretty good. The homemade cappuccino was indeed the best part of the meal.

After leaving a nightclub in Vegas and finding yourself on the strip at 4am still ready to party, Drais is the place to go. It was pretty crowded and there were two different rooms. At the main dance floor, the music was mostly techno or of that nature. There was a hip hop room towards the back and it was pretty big as the main part. It still felt like you just started the night out and when you leave you go outside to sunlight. It was wonderful and I had the best time. I would highly recommend Drais, which is located inside Bills Gamblin Hotel by Flamingo.

My friend and I went Jan. 09 during our Vegas trip. Both of us being foodies, Bouchon was on the top of our list of restaurants to go based on their reputation (thanks, Anthony Bourdain!). We were not disappointed. We went during brunch time. Both the hostess and our waiter were courteous and friendly. We ordered the Czar Nicholas Sturgeon to split, which was one of the specials. The waiter brought us homemade jam and butter. Our fish was well cooked and the flavors balanced perfectly with each other. My friend, who is not as cultured as I am when it comes to food said it was the best meal he's every had. I would have to agree that is one of the best meals I have ate at a restaurant. The whole experience was perfect.
Also at the Venetian is Bouchon Bakery. We went there several times to have something quick to grab and go. The pastries were excellent. Too bad the city we live does not have Thomas Keller's restaurant. We would come back again and again.
Pros: Excellent food and service.
Cons: Bit difficult to find in the hotel.

We had a perfect birthday dinner experience at Fix. Our group of four got there early and had a champagne toast at the bar before being seated. Our waitress and wait staff were very helpful and super friendly. We decided to order small plates and apps to all share and asked to have the best selections on the menu. The recommendations were fantastic and everything tasted better than the next. Their specialty martinis were amazing and a candle in their signature desert doughnuts was the perfect ending. We all walked away very impressed with the meal and not spending as much as we would have if we went to an expensive steakhouse. Everything about the experience was exactly what we hoped for.
Pros: amazing lobster tacos and cucumber martinis
Cons: none

I always try new restaurants when I go to LV, but I also always devote one night per trip to eat at Ferraro's. It is old school Italian, with a live but unobtrusive band, and healthy and creative portions of food. Their signature dish, osso buco, is about the size of a shoe, so two people could probably share one. The anchovy salad is very tasty, as is their port chop, rabbit, lobster rissoto, and any pasta dish. As well as their desserts. They key here: Don't go there if you expect some trendy nouveau Strip cuisine. There is a reason Mimmo has kept things the same way for years and years, and people keep coming back. This is traditional Italian all the way, from the food to the ambience. And speaking as one whose ancestors hail from Milan, Ferraro's is a refreshing change from restaurants that try too hard to reinvent the wheel. On another note, I read one review that complained about the restaurant's location, being out west on Flamingo road, far away from the Strip. Truth be told, once you pass the Palms heading west, you will get there in 5 minutes because the traffic eases up so much. Well worth the trip, I promise.
Pros: Old school Italian. Sinatra would be proud.
Cons: NONE!!!

Carnitas Michoac?!n. Try it. Tender and tasty. Careful of the large green chili pepper they serve with it unless you like pain. Food came in a flash and the waitstaff was all over me throughout the meal. The hot bean dip they serve with the chips is fantastic. Go when you're hungry; you won't be disappointed

I went into NY Pizza and Pasta on a quest for a GOOD Meatball Sub or hoagie. In CT we call them grinders. I moved here in November and ever since I have tried in vain to find a good meatball sub. I walked into Ny Pizza and Pasta and told Roseanne the waitress I am on a mission to find a good meatball sub. She told me I found the place. She also said "You will be back". She was definitely right. I have gone back several times now. I tried the meatball sub, the eggplant parmesan sub, the sausage, pepper and onions sub and my husband and I have also gone into the dining area and ordered spaghetti and meatballs and a side of garlic knots! Everything was just perfect. The ranch dressing was delicious on the salad, The meatballs were very tasty. They have the best sauce I have ever had eating out. They are really nice people who go way out of the way to please you. If you are looking for really good food don't look any further. I know you will definitely want to go back over and over again.
The waiter comped my husband and I a couple pieces of pizza to try. It was the best thin pizza ever. I can't wait to try their sicilian pizza. I highly recommend NY PIZZA AND PASTA! They are the BEST!!!! Mary Mills
Pros: Best Meatball subs in Las Vegas!
Cons: None
