Cheap beer. Stop by this Las Vegas landmark for all of your intoxicating needs before heading to the real casinos. Located on the more mature end of the Vegas strip, this place caters to the not-so-high rollers in town. Watch out for the dollar shrimp cocktail. It appears more to be a cup of sea monkeys with ketchup. $1 heinekens and $1 margaritas can't be beat. Right next door to Circus Circus. Load up on cheap liquor here then go to the nicer casinos

This magic show was my second one I have seen in Vegas so far. This show is INSANE. We sat dead smack in the front but all the lower seating is excellent! We were so close that we were covered with smoke falling off the stage when it was used. This show will keep you scratching your head for days to come!

I just saw Cirque du Soleil~Delirium last night. I loved it. Another fabulous show put on by the cirque folks. This show is based primarilly on live music..features live singers and a band on stage for many of the scenes/acts. This show, like all the others, featured amazing set pieces. Delirium had a long narrow stage with scrim curtains on either side. These scims were used throughout the show to project amazing moving images on them. It really added to the set, and the overall show. There were so many images constantly changing, making for an incredible experience. This show, though featuring music, has just as many acrobats as the other shows. The acrobats were amazing! Though it has completed its 2 day tour in Saint Paul, I'm sure it moves on to other cities. Check it out if you get a chance.

Zumanity http://www.zumanity.com/ is not a 'family show', but the nudity on stage is tasteful, acrobatic and well orchestrated. It is not a touring show, but rather an appropriate and important part of your pre-marriage trip to Vegas; bring a date. If you sit too close to the stage you risk becoming part of the show in ways that you might not anticipate, but when I return, that is my intention. Their concessions area has some very stimulating things, but their actual performance astounded me with new possibilities and I wondered if the acrobatic feats performed even existed before our time. Succumb.

We have visited Las Vegas at least 5 times. Twice we have stayed at The Flamingo. This seems to be our favorite hotel. It is very central for getting about.
With its brilliant pink facade, the Flamingo Las Vegas --home to Vegas' Second City comedy club -- is as colorful as the history behind it.
It seems appropriate that the Flamingo Las Vegas is a direct descendant of the hotel where modern Vegas began; even though Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel's original Flamingo is gone, the hotel that bears the name is no less glamorous.
The lush gardens behind the room towers seem removed from Sin City entirely, with live African penguins, Chilean flamingos, Mandarin ducks and Koi fish frolicking in ponds and under three-story waterfalls. A number of tennis courts, swimming pools and a world-class health spa make the Flamingo seem less a casino and more of a full resort.
Entertainment abounds at the Flamingo Las Vegas with a variety of shows including Second City. Restaurants cater to tastes ranging from Italian to Chinese, and the Paradise Garden Buffet serves up delicious food in an idyllic setting. It goes without saying that the casino is enormous, with 2,100 slot machines, 71 table games and a giant race and sports book to reward the fortunate.
True to its lineage, the Flamingo Las Vegas is a great Las Vegas experience.

It seems like every hotel here on the Strip has one of these shows. And that might well be true. However, this one sells out almost all the time, so that might tell you how good this show is. If you knwo nothign about it, it is a myriad of dancers, singers, musicians, contortionists and champion-caliber acrobats in amazing makeup and costumes doing a bunch of jawdropping things. the tickets can be pricey, but they are definitely worth it. Be sure to get here a bit early, they have some pre-entertainment. the show is dark (not running) Mondays and Tuesdays.

Well even after all these years Scandia is still a fun place to hang out. My husband and I hung out there when we were dating and now we take our kids there to play miniature golf and ride the bumper boats. They have regular token games and also skee ball and basketball. The pizza there is good too. The kids love to get there picture taken in the curtain style picture machine. My 9 year old loves to practice his hitting too in the batting cages.
