Aureole is excellent in every way. The room is dramatic and quiet. The food is very good by any standard. The sweet pea ravioli starter and beef duo entree are worth a mention. The e-winebook makes navigating a large wine list a snap. The meyer lemon gelee pre-dessert was also perfect as was the service.Aureole is worth every penny

I love going after 10pm on the weekends to play cosmic bowling. The lights are dimmed and there are strobe lights. There is a DJ ready to play your requested song and after midnight they kick all the kids out. Its a great place to have a good time with friends and just chill.

We have dined in many different restaurants in Las Vegas and recently ate at China Grill in Mandalay Bay and we were very impressed with the cuisine and service at this spectacular multi-million dollar restaurant that features a main dining room which is a replica of a hollowed wine barrel with a unique ceiling light show during service. They recently added a sushi to menu with a Japenese trained Chef named Wai whose eclectic twists to well known dishes were fantastic. The main entrees we ordered were a Kalbi marinated Rib Eye (20 OZ bone in) and their Shanghi Lobster in a coconut curry plum cream sauce and crispy spinach that was the best whole lobster dish we ever tried. We agreed the price point was very resonable for a family style concept that emphasized variety, quality and team service. Go check out this great surpirse...

This is a great place to conversate with your date. The lighting is romanticaly dim and the tables all have candle lights. There is a wide selection of wine and sake. I have to say that the food is definently flavorfull and the ice tea has a light after-taste of rice. The service is friendly and always ontop of drinks and dirty plates. The window walls give a beautiful sight of the sky (especially around 7pm). I love this place!
Pros: Romantic Atmosphere
Cons: Stuffy and Over Crowded

Having lived inThailand for several years working as a cook, we have found it really hard to find "real" Thai food in Las Vegas. The Hyped up readers-reviews only led us down the familiar path of disappointment. We discovered Jasmine from the Review Journal's Staff pick for Best of Vegas. We figured the staff at the local newspaper must have a "valid" opinion. They were right on the money! Finally a Thai restaurant that follows traditional Thai recipes and flavors. We didn't order Pad Thai, thats like judging an Italian restaurant based on spaghetti. Instead we went for the "Thai Jungle menu" which was authentic Essan Style (my wife's specialty) and the staff recommendation of the Chaing Mai style Roasted Duck Curry. That is Thai, a little spicy (not taste deadening like the hyped Thai places) and freshly prepared sauces of ginger, lime, cilantro & coconut. Besides the food being the headliner, the atmosphere took us back. Not the traditional Asian eatery we were expecting. We dined in a dim-lit, romantic restaurant with quiet jazz music filling the air. The attentive staff was knowledgable on every item, from the wines to the deserts! Very impressive! They also were very attentive to our needs without being overbearing (similar to the Thai hospitality in their native country.) since our visit we have returned on several occasions & tried most of the menu items. They even catered an Event at our office which won over the entire staff (even our picky secretary that vowed not to eat Thai because it was "hot"). Thank you, Jasmine, for brining our recollection of the real Thai experience to Las Vegas. You deserve the recognition of Best of Vegas!
Pros: The food, service and atmosphere
Cons: Location in West Las Vegas

I was planing to vist Las Vegas with my extended family (total of 5 of us) and I heard about this place on food network. When we all got in from Detroit, we took an extended cab ride to the place and found that the parking lot was empty! That was not a good sign! But in this case that sign was wrong. The food is delicious !!! We ordered a family meal and we had enough to take back to the hotel after we had eaten our fill. The hot and sour soup was wonderful it had wonderful balance. Two of my family have been to China and they said that the only better was found there. The place started to fill up as we were leaving... I guess we are not like the 24hour vibe that is found in Vegas. The only thing that I DID NOT LIKE was that the food was not cheap. I hope that when I come back to Vegas ... moving there in a few years that they are still there and a little less expensive.
Pros: Much on the menu to choose from. Very innovative food. Couldn't get enough Lemon Chicken
Cons: Very expensive in a city of cheaper (but good) choices,

We had the spring rolls for appetizer with the entrees being spicy curry shrimp, emperor's delight, fried rice with pork, shrimp and chicken, it was probably the best chinese inspired meal I have ever had. I had the tea with cream, didn't like it, should have stuck with regular tea on ice. And for dessert I had the assortment of sorbet's with a huge fortune cookie powdered with sugar, amazing, amazing, amazing. I was very impressed with the experience and now I can truly say that I walked into Wolfgang's restaurant being doubtful and walked out a believer.
Pros: Food, Price, Service
Cons: Cream Tea, Cream Tea, Cream Tea

Went on a Monday night for a romantic dinner, so the place was not that busy but service was kind of slow. The ambience was very nice with soft lighting. Ordered 3 sushi rolls (little buddha roll and king's roll and the spicy tuna.) All very delicious. My boyfriend and I thought the portion was small when it first came out, but we had a hard time finishing it b/c the rolls were so big. The wait was a bit long for the rolls but it was worth it.
The cons....as a big restaurant diner, i like to check out the restrooms and see their design but they dont have one...you have to go out into the casino. In addition, the cheap wooden chopsticks and "chinese take out" soy sauce containers were a turn off. For a really nice place I thought they should provide lacquer chopsticks and put soy sauce in a nice glass container. Maybe i'm just being too critical...
Vegas gets to you like that. You expect the best of the best every where you go.
But definately the food is to die for!
Pros: food
Cons: service (nice staff but slow service)
