When you have to call a repair service, things are not going well. The last thing you need is to be treated inconsistently, and more importantly, you do not want to be treated rudely (or) like a burden. I spoke with one person at Davis Glass & Mirror who, when asked, gave me an expected range-of-cost for the glass I needed to replace. I took some measurements and called back only to be confronted with a rude, condescending person who rattled off their stock numbers (as if I would have a clue about THAT), and gave me a price nearly $200 more than the range-of-price quoted earlier. When you hear a ?service? representative say ?I do not know who you spoke with but they were wrong.? lased with mild contempt and, ?That is not how you measure glass, do it this way or I cannot help you?? it should raise the red flags. Just because we expect poor customer service does not mean companies should strive to provide poor customer service?
Pros: They are easy to find on Google
Cons: Poor customer experience
