Whenever we're looking at a new place to eat, like everyone we look at the sorroundings wait time price , etc, We found the Top of the World to be very nice inside, the view outside was spectacular, and the food however very pricey was excellent. The cuts of meat were perfect. And the seafood was out of the ocean that morning it seemed. We dont mind paying high prices for good food, and this was some of the best we'd ever had, and we've eaten at some very upscale resturants over the past 31 years together. Our meal at the Top of the World was an anniversary dinner, which we enjoyed the whole experience from beginning to end.

My friend and I went Jan. 09 during our Vegas trip. Both of us being foodies, Bouchon was on the top of our list of restaurants to go based on their reputation (thanks, Anthony Bourdain!). We were not disappointed. We went during brunch time. Both the hostess and our waiter were courteous and friendly. We ordered the Czar Nicholas Sturgeon to split, which was one of the specials. The waiter brought us homemade jam and butter. Our fish was well cooked and the flavors balanced perfectly with each other. My friend, who is not as cultured as I am when it comes to food said it was the best meal he's every had. I would have to agree that is one of the best meals I have ate at a restaurant. The whole experience was perfect.
Also at the Venetian is Bouchon Bakery. We went there several times to have something quick to grab and go. The pastries were excellent. Too bad the city we live does not have Thomas Keller's restaurant. We would come back again and again.
Pros: Excellent food and service.
Cons: Bit difficult to find in the hotel.

We went on a recent Vegas vacay, four of us total. We were seated about 15 minutes after putting our name in although it looked like the wait would have been much longer. Got a great little booth in a quiet section in the back of the hotel, which was fabulous. We all got drinks, which were good, except mine was way too sweat (Pomegranate Champagne drink). Got appetizers of the mashed potato spring rolls and edemame, both of which were really good. Our server was very friendly, attentive, and timely. I got the spring roll appetizers which were surprisingly good. My boyfriend got the southwestern salad which was SOOOO good!!! I was craving it days later. Our friends good some good plates as well, but didn't taste them. Overall it was a very reasonably priced meal, great service, and a good time. I wanted to go back before we left but we just didn't have time. We also realized there's a Grand Lux in Great Neck, NY close to were we all live, so I'm sure we'll try this place again soon afterall! Definately recommend this place. So much to chose from and the prices are fair.
Pros: Great choices, good prices, attentive service, generous portions
Cons: Not much. Some oft the drinks are a little too sweet.

No wonder they win all the awards- James Beard, Zagat, Consumer Reports! Unheard of for a breakfast restaurant. So I had to try it, now I am hooked! The German Pancake is to DIE for and so is the bacon. Everyone else says they fresh sqeeze the OJ, but OPH really does! It's full of pulp and delicious. I am done with the rest!
You HAVE to try it! It's soooooo worth the wait.
Pros: Delicious food, great service
Cons: Have to wait in line

My friends and I ate here after I found it on city search, and we loved it. Our one suggestion would be to share a meal!...With the HUGE omelets AND pumpkin bread it was a lot for one person---so maybe order one meal and an extra order of pumpkin bread:) Also, they are very open to you adding or taking things away from one of their pre-made omelets, so that's nice!

My husband and I made it here on January 10, 2009 and were so impressed with the ambiance, service, food and drink that I am planning my graduation party here and am looking forward to going back soon. The service is so impeccable and Brian is wonderful. You must have the shrimp cocktail they are huge and you get 5 of them for a great price. The salads and steaks are great as well as the apple/blueberry cobbler and the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. If you want to try an undiscovered spot go here you will love it.
Pros: Great Food, Service, Drinks and Ambiance.
Cons: None

We were going to try the Wynn, but it was way too expensive so we went for our second choice. Was that ever a good decision. We managed to get to the buffet at a slower time. Our waiter was nice, attentive and filled our champagne glasses when he noticed them empty. I started with the Dim Sum. The duck was so tasty and the shrimp har gow dumpling were fresh and perfect. The prime rib was melt in your mouth and there were rare slices aplenty as well as end cuts. I also spent a low of time with the snow crab and peel and eat shrimp.
Since I only have one stomach, I did not try to Mexican or many of the traditional American dishes, but they all looked so very good. The desserts and pastries were fresh and perfect and they even had gelatto in six flavors. I will recommend this buffet to all my friends and I will definitely be back.
Pros: Well prepared food, friendly efficient service
Cons: Could be a long wait in line

I love Hash House a Go Go. The Hash House has a very raw, industrial decor. Think, the farmhouse version of a Chipotle. The food here comes in monstrous proportions so you should definitely share with a friend. Don't pay to split a dish... Just share off the same plate and ask for two small ones (smart & cost effective). I have an addiction to their pancakes. Fluffly on the inside, but they have this wonderful nearly crisp outside. The plain pancakes are delicious, but the specialty selections with toppings from blueberries to pecans are to die for. Also, the egg scrables are really good. Who knew a hodge-podge of eggs and other fridge ingredients could have such great flavor!
They have indoor and outdoor seating. But their patio is just lovely on a warm Sunday morning :)
Pros: Every breakfast food you'll ever want.
Cons: Pricy (but huge portions so it's in the middle)
