Kelly’s Downtown is quite possibly my favorite bar in Lansing. The place has a wonderful Irish-American atmosphere, fantastic food and great service. Whenever I am downtown, I usually make it a point to go to Kelly’s for a pint of Guinness (properly poured, no less!) or Smithwick’s. The Friday special of Mac and Cheese is among the best I have had in any restaurant and I highly recommend trying it.

During law school this is where my friends and I hung out on the rare night we weren't studying like crazy. I like this little bar. It has a friendly atmosphere and lots of booths. I have had lunch there on several occasions and it was great. I really like their food. The service was quick. I would recommend it. Especially since everything else in downtown Lansing closes on the weekends since no one is really there!

During law school this is where my friends and I hung out on the rare night we weren't studying like crazy. I like this little bar. It has a friendly atmosphere and lots of booths. I have had lunch there on several occasions and it was great. I really like their food. The service was quick. I would recommend it. Especially since everything else in downtown Lansing closes on the weekends since no one is really there!

Kelly’s Downtown is quite possibly my favorite bar in Lansing. The place has a wonderful Irish-American atmosphere, fantastic food and great service. Whenever I am downtown, I usually make it a point to go to Kelly’s for a pint of Guinness (properly poured, no less!) or Smithwick’s.
