I am a huge zoo fan. I love the potter park zoo for a lot of reasons. I find they have the big cats that I love along with some of the exotic animals you can't always see. And the penguins are great to watch. The monkeys are always trying to entertain. You can sometimes feed the goats too. The food and gift shop are good too and a nice break. Don miss the bird and reptile house. It's a nice combination. A great place to picnic afterward too and feed the ducks on the water.

While a little but rudimentary for those who are old, that is as it should be.
This science center has a good amount of hands on activities for the kids, and I know my daughter was kept thoroughly entertained for a good period of time.
Anything to help the kids learn science, this is a great value considering the low cost!

The banquet facility in the Royal Scot Golf Course is very nice. There is a lot of space and it is very well maintained. The food was good at the receptions that I attended. The golfing is also very nice. It is well taken care of and the prices are average.

The tennis instruction at Court One is very solid. I've seen many different ages and levels taught there, and a great job is done to keep challenging the student, no matter where they are now. There is a strong focus on fundamentals and players quickly can learn to be competent. Prices are reasonable and facilities nice. The instructors are excellent players who are highly experienced and know how to work with both children and adults. Both private and group lessons are available. You can also join leagues at this center.

I was looking for a bicycle since gas prices are getting higher to ride around town. But didn't want to spend to much. I found a nice bike here for $40 and they had done inspections and checked them all over. They let me ride it and even adjusted the seat for me to the right height. I could have paid a lot more for the same bike. They were very friendly and helpful too.

This is a great place to get custom made pieces. They take time with you to discuss what you want and the finished product is beautiful! They have a lot of already made pieces and unusual items as well. There is always someone with a smile to help you out and they are very knowledgable. I find the location being a older home makes this shop feel warm and inviting. A must see if you are looking for jewelry.

Catching a game at Oldsmobile Park is a relaxing, family friendly way to spend a summer afternoon or evening. The tickets are reasonable, parking is close, the players seem to actually care about each game (considering they are trying to move up in the minors towards the major leagues) and they have some fun promotions.
Thursday nights feature extremely cheap beer, mixing two American traditions into one.
Overall, I'd highly recommend checking them out if you get the chance.

THis is the ultimate place to find a special gift for the lady friend in your life. The Owner, very attractive I need to add, helped me pick out the perfect gift for my girlfriend. My girlfriend loved it and thought it was the best gift I had ever given her in eight years. Definitely would recommend shopping at October Moon.

THIS IS A GREAT PLACE FOR KIDS! ITS AN ALL AROUND THINKING ZONE. SOMETHING TO DO TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE THAT IS FUN AND A LEARNING EXPERIENCE AT THE SAME TIME. I LOVED THIS PLACE WHEN I WAS LITTLE. ITS ONE OF THE ONLY MUSEUMS THAT REALLY PERTAINS TO KIDS MORE THAN ADULTS. ALTHOUGH ADULTS HAVE MORE FUN THAN THE KIDS SOMETIMES! ITS LOCATED IN THE HART OF DOWNTOWN LANSING, NEAR THE CAPITAL, WITH MANY THINGS TO DO WITHIN A SHORT WALKING DISTANCE. HAVE FUN! I HIGHLY RECOMEND.
