Sparrow Hospital has a good reputation and I have had great transactions with this system from the technicians to the doctors, and of course, the nurses are GREAT! When I had surgery here I was very well cared for. When I have had testing, the technicians have been helpful and courteous. So far, all of my experiences with people connected to Sparrow has been positive.

I was in Sparrow Hospital in late April for a major accident. I stayed in the orthopedic ward for 6 days. The nurses were amazing. They took care of everything I needed. The interns for the nurses helped a lot. I had 2 surgeries and everyone made it as easy as possible. As well as making sure I had a vegetarian diet. The only problem I had was they did not know how to address my Buddhist faith and when they asked religious belief, the chaplains helper freaked out instead of offering to help if he could. But the doctors and nurses and nutritutionist were very accomodating and helpful in a difficult time.
