They are hit and miss.
While on the one hand they have a very wide selection and their prices are very competitive.
On the other hand the service is not always the best but i would not say worse than other places. The one thing that bugs me is that they do not have the best know-how that you would expect from a gardening center. So if your looking for general know-how on how to set up for your next project this probably isnt your place.

We hired Round Top to construct a three-season room on our existing deck. I gathered several estimates and found that Round Top was the only contractor that really listened to what I had in mind, and didn't try to sell me a pre-set package or try to sell me something more elaborate than I wanted. The price was reasonable. The work was well thought out, there was great attention to detail, and we were very happy with the finished product. Oscar was also very tidy so we didn't feel imposed upon during constuction. Finally, I appreciated that Oscar did the vast majority of the work himself and we didn't have to deal with subcontractors. I would highly recommend working with Round Top Construction.

We were pleased with the work that we had done by Smith
Tree and Landscape. They removed a large tree and stump for us as well as doing some additional clean up landscape work. Their prices were reasonable and competitive. They did exactly what they were going to do, when they said they would do it. They had a strong attention to detail and asked questions to be clear about what we wanted and to make sure that we were satisfied. I was especially happy with how quickly and completely they were able to clear a very large tree and stump and in the aftermath get our yard looking great. I highly reccommend them!

These guys do know their stuff. They are very prompt and courteous. They got rid of all the weeds and the root cause of the problem in one season. They never fail to contact me when they will be coming out to do an application. They are definitely very professional.

Van houtten is a very good farm market and a shop with good flowers and hanging flower baskets. A moderate size store with more than what you can imagine. Fresh and healthy to eat. Their collection of plants and flowers is very good and at a very reasonable cost. If you live close by you may save some money by shopping here instead of going to big stores and paying a lot.

Didn't show on day he said he would Showed up on another day and charged me time I had to leave work to meet him unannounced. Did a job he wasn't qualified to do...very poor work. Promised to come back and fix it....he never did....I got someone else to fix his shoddy work, he apologized and said he would sent me a check for the new repair...never did....always an excuse!!!! He says he is a chaplan..man of god....part of his ruse to get to you trust him.
Pros: None - Good Talker
Cons: Doesn't live up to what he says he will do or can do
