Horrocks Farm Market is not a farmer market in the true sense...it is more of a fruit, flower and vegetable market with some craft supplies too. There are even come other grocery items. The prices on fresh produce are hard to beat. Then there are seasonal items...outdoor plants and flowers to take home and plant. This is a favorite stop for the lower prices to be found here and the variety.

The nice thing about Horrocks is they used to be a small stand and now it's a huge market with ethnic foods and gift items as well as the best priced flowers in town. It's like getting a farmers market all year round. Oh and the homemade salsa is very good. They have a large selection of cheeses and wines also. It's nice to find plants and trees also for the yard in the garden department. It's a place to visit for the atmosphere too. Sometimes they have a piano player or other entertainment. Definately a one of a kind place.

Horrocks Farm Market in Lansing is an absolutely wonderful place to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables. They also have a huge garden center where you can find almost anything you can think of to landscape your home. They also have some cute gift type items throughout the store and provide beautiful fresh bouquets and arrangements available for purchase.

Horrocks, we can say it is a gift to Lansing for fresh Vegetables and Fruits at a very reasonable cost. It is a very big size store all with the fresh items. It also has milk products and a very good collection of flowers at a very reasonable cost. Good customer service and multiple counters open all the time makes a fast checkout.

Horrocks is in the old tradition of a neighborhood store/farmers market. They carry a very wide selection of local/national produce, as well as a grocery section. I go there for the produce, as it is always fresh & they tend to get the pick of the crop. Pricing is very reasonable -- and you won't hear that in any so called 'organic' specialty shop. Shop here if you like good food but don't want to be ripped off!

Horrock's Farm Market in Lansing, MI is by far my favorite place to shop for fresh produce, fresh flowers, cheese, and ethnic foods. The environment is very "hometown-ish" which is a nice break from the chain-run grocery stores. What's more, you can walk in on any afternoon and enjoy live piano music while you shop. The fresh flower selection is great, several times a month they seem to run "A dozen long stem roses for $8.99" specials. They have an on-site floral delivery available too. Did I mention their FULL stock of trees and plants? Horrocks is like a Grocery Store + Florist + Nursery all in one. The service is great, and you can always sample FREE CHEESE! The only "odd" thing about it is the parking lot, but I guess it matches the quarkyness of the store itself. Horrocks truely is in a class of its own.
