Jocelyn, Is the best stylist I have ever had. After driving all the way to Detroit on a regular basis to get my hair done, I was grateful to find a celebrity stylist right here in Lansing that I could actually afford! She has done hair for Ebony Magazine and frequents national hair shows. She is also very good on keeping my hair healthy. She's very honest when I get a little "over ambitious" about new hair products and styles that may damage my hair. She can also cut amazing hair styles! I simply love this woman. If I ever move from Lansing, I'm taking her with me :-)! Renee Pros: Timely, Expert in Black hair care, up-to-date styles, Cons: None!! She is FABULOUS!

After jumping from stylist to stylist for years, I finally found someone who really can "read" my hair. She listens to what I want but also makes recommendations which were MUCH appreciated. Her personality is great which makes conversation flow easily. I felt very comfortable and would personally refer her to anyone who is in need of a new look! I can't wait to take my daughter in for her first haircut! Pros: Knows Hair! Very professional, yet a lot of fun!

Ashley Fuerstenau is the definition of what pops in your head when you think of a day at the spa.... fun, upbeat, friendly, makes you comfortable and once you've had her do your hair you have absolute trust in her abilities. I wouldn’t go to anyone else, she fixed my terrible roots (I had let a friend practice on my hair, bad idea) Ashley blended my grown out, horribly colored hair so well that you cant even tell now, which is astonishing. Ashley also has done my updo for a wedding which everyone complimented all day long. The day after the wedding I went wakeboarding and guess what....every single bobby pin stayed in place and that’s true quality when a lake can't even destroy your hair!! Pros: everything you could ever want in beauty under one roof Cons: honestly...nothing

Have tried quite a few of the lower priced salons in the area. Yes, I know, you get what you pay for but I have never put much money into my hair because it's just not the greatest hair and didn't think it was worth bothering with too much. One day, on a whim, I walked into Patricks for a trim. I know they have been around for a long time but I havn't always lived here so I hadn't heard of it. I am so glad I went in. I was surprised about how large of a place it is. They offer every service you can think of, kind of like one stop shopping for everything beauty related. I mean a lot of things that you don' t ordinarily find in a salon, tattooing? teeth whitening? tanning? full service everything spa. The place was bustling with lots of friendly people and happy customers. Only waited a couple of minutes but had a chance to chat with other enthusiastic customers who had been using this place for many years. An energetic, sweet, young stylist named Ashley did such a great job on my hair. She was the kind of person who absolutely loves what she does and is very talented to be so young. She had the perfect balance of listening to what you want and offering suggestions when asked. She was very much a perfectionist and actually made me like my hair again! The prices were very reasonable but you come out of there feeling like you did something a little more special for yourself than then if you had gone to the really cheap places. Definitely worth a try.

I was looking for a colorist and found this review for Sherry so I made an appointment. I was there for the first time today and I can tell you that no one else will ever color my hair! I have never been more pleased with the way my hair looks. She knew exactly what to do in order to achieve what I described. She literally asked me if I thought one color was too red or not and went from there! I promise you, its worth the money!

I have been alot of other places and this was by far the best. I got Sherry's name on the city search and I have never been more excited about my hair, I just love it for the first time ever!!!!
