I started going to McCrea's when I was a kid. My mom helped me pick out my first trumpet and they helped me pick out my first music book. I took lessons there for years as did my brother and sister who learned piano. I still play my trumpet and am very close to my teacher. She was wonderful. I always love going in there to hear the sounds of kids learning music!

The atmosphere of this music store is very eclectic. The staff was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. They have a wide assortment of musical instruments, ranging from beginner to more professional quality pieces. They have a very large range of accessories, and I was very impressed with the quality and affordability of their products for stringed instruments. They offer lessons in the store as well, as well as instrument appraisal for a reasonable price. If they do not have something you need in stock, they are very accommodating and usually able to order just about anything.
