I like Curves in Lakewood because the staff there is friendly and helpful. The cost is very reasonable and I have a lot of fun while working out. I have really enjoyed my experience here. Exercising to music seems to set the mood! If you are a woman looking for a place to get in shape I do recommend Curves. I really think you will enjoy the experience. They are located in many different areas.

I came into Forbici salon for the first time a month ago. I was looking for a pedicure since every place I went to was either closed or booked. Forbici was about to close, however, they took me anyways. The girl who did my pedicure was friendly and had nothing but good things to say about Forbici. She took my feet to a level they have not been to since I was a toddler!!! My feet where sooooo soft! Plus, the area was so relaxing and inviting! I will go no where else for a pedicure again! Try it out and I PROMISE you if your experience comes even close to mine, you'll be hooked!!!!!

Dr. Hermann's office is small but very pleasant. They have a cute little play area for toddlers and plenty of magazines for adults. The office never fails to call one day prior to your appointment to remind you about the date and time. The music they play in the background is calming.

Lakewood Hospital is one of the best hospitals in the city. I had to go to the Maternity Unit as an interpreter for a patient. The nurses were really helpful with the patient I was there for; they came in immediately after being buzzed and didn’t seem bothered by the high volume of work. Although the hospital is small, it has a community feeling.

I recommend Lakewood Massotherapy. I have been seeing the therapist John there for several years for Deep Tissue work and he is the very best. The prices for an hour massage are very reasonable, the staff is always charming, the facility is immaculate. If you have a note from your doctor recommending medical massage for pain management or any other reason you can have the sales tax on services waived. Treat yourself or give a gift certificate so someone you know who deserves an our of bliss:-)
Pros: great service and skilled therapists
Cons: street parking only can be a drag

This is a good place to go for an inexpensive massage. Their prices are cheaper compared to some upscale day spas. They give good massages and are thoroughly professional. They have a relaxing atmosphere and are very good about getting people in for an appointment. I would highly recommend them.

This salon is conveniently located near downtown Lakewood. The great location has its downside, little parking. The hairdressers are really nice, especially Julie, who is one of my favorites. She will try to squeeze me in and accommodate my busy schedule. She does great job, and is really friendly. She I also my daughter’s favorite, and my daughter is tough to please!

I was soooo stressed out when I went into Sacred Hour, and got a 90 minute massage with Jennifer. I stumbled out 90 minutes later, knots removed and completely relaxed. This is by far the best massage I have ever had.
Pros: Ambiance, free street parking
Cons: The waiting room was really warm
