After being quoted extremely high prices by 2 other company's, we were very satisfied with Airflow's proposal. It was very fair, and we were super happy with the explanation of what we would be getting. We never felt ripped off, and they did a terrific job. The system works great. If any one is looking for a great deal and a great company-we recommend Airflow for sure.

I live in a real small rural town, in San Diego county, there isnt much going on around here. This town is so small we dont even have our own police or fire department. The only major stores we have around here, are Vons and Albertsons (and the various famous fast food chains). Its mainly a lot of mom and pop shops, etc.
We just had a great little market open up right down the street from us. Its called Harvest Farms Market. Its very small, in comparison to all the chain markets, but they have weekly sales. And their every day prices are very comparable to the chain stores...most of the time even cheaper!
They have great deals on meat of all kinds, great produce, friendly knowledgeable staff. They even have an in store "restaurant" that has some pretty decent food at good prices.
This place has just replaced most of the other stores I used to shop at...why go to another town to get one or two items, when its all right here?!!
We had a chili cookoff this past weekend, and I found every thing I needed right here in this store, and I paid a lot less than the major chains, and I didnt have to waste gas travelling to another town to get everything.

Family Owned and Operated, Dave, the Owner, is usually on site, and takes Customer Satisfaction Personally. The Mechanics are all ASE certified, friendly and professional. Finally, a garage you can trust! They are also, probably one of the last FULL SERVICE gas stations left around. The full service guys will check your tires, fluids, wash your windshield (the whole bit)! Definetly Old School service, with a smile. They always offer a ride home, if your car is going to be there for a bit. Most of their customers have kept their business their for year after year! (To me that says it all)!
Pros: Open at 7:00 (early), shuttle service, Open Saturdays, Family owned/operated.

Wayne did the work I needed done in a price range I had in mind. My only complaint is that he didn't come out on the days he said he would, but I wasn't required to be there so I wasn't put out. I'm happy with the repair work.

I was more than impressed when our HOA decided to choose Pacific Green as our new landscape contractor. I can honestly say that we have never been happier with a landscape company. We have been through several landscape companies in the past four years - mainly because the companies never respond to our issues and do visibly poor work. I'm just so pleased with the beautiful work they do and their professionalism.

Look for Payton's True Value Hardware on Maine Avenue in Lakeside- A great small town hardware store with small town service! I try to support our local small town shops as much as I can. We have home Depot and Lowe's in the next town over- only about a 10 minute drive, but Payton's has what I need 90% of the time, and they have always been cheaper than the chain stores. I have been having one broken sprinkler pipe or head after another at my house, and it is so much easier to run to Payton's- they have a good selection of plumbing parts, without the overkill of Home depot(try finding that one little connector you need among the 5000 or so HD carries- I can easily waste 30 minutes looking, plus the drive time- Payton's I can be in and out in 5-10 minutes! They carry some kitchen goods too, and an old time popcorn machine sits in the front- you can grab a bag to munch on while you shop, or on your way home- no charge!

Party goods, gifts, candy, among other things make it someplace you can make a quick stop with things to browse while your order is being filled. The prices on over the counter medications seemed to be lower than the national pharmacies and grocery stores, too. Service was fast and friendly.

We have done business with Lakeside Water District for about 4 years now. You don't get to choose what water district you get your water from, but I can't really complain about this one. The customer service is reasonable. The main office is fairly easy to get to, and close, so you can drop your payment there, and save yourself a stamp. I had a time when my payment was late by a few days, and I wrote them a letter asking if they could waive the late fees, which they did since it was the first time. They will waive the late few if you are not late more than twice in a 24 month period.
