Lake Forest is a great 4-year liberal arts college located on Chicago's north shore. Academically, the school is fantastic; around 95% of all faculty hold doctorates in their respective fields and most have taught at major universities such as Harvard, Northwestern, and the University of Chicago at some point in their careers. The campus is gorgeous and only about 5 minutes away from Lake Michigan and downtown Chicago is easy to access by Metra. Although the price tag of the school is high, the education and social rewards one gains more than make up for the steep price.

This private school is expensive, but offers some creative options for people who can't take classes full time. They have many degree programs, too. If you live in the city, it's probably best to take the Metra, because depending on when you take your classes, there may be a lot of traffic and it's not exactly up the street....kinda far!

Lake Forest College has a beautiful campus nestled in Lake Forest. And that is not all this school has to offer. It has a great educational cirriculum and the staff is really professional. This is a small, private school, but it has anything and everything to offer for a superb education. Also, the student body is great too -- making the social experience at this school wonderful as well.
