Located in the Ralph's shopping center in Lake Forest, this small local restaurant is one of the few family run Chinese Restaurants in the area. When I went with my parents it was a pleasant experience as my parents started up a conversation with the waitress about where they were from. This is something they usually do when we go out to eat but it was a refreshing experience. The food was ok, this is coming from someone who eats a lot of Chinese food, home cooked and at restaurants so I do judge more than others. The dishes were enough for three of us and we still had some to take home. It's the service that gives it the good reputation however as it is really personal as the restaurant itself is pretty small. This could definitely be a nice place for a date but large groups could be another question (unless you somehow ask them way in advance). So if you're hungry for something other than frozen Chinese food, stop by and give it a try.
