The people at Midas say they know how to work on cars, but In my experience that is not the case. I went there early (8 AM) to have my brakes done. I didn't get the car until after 1:30 that afternoon...and the brakes still weren't right! I'll never go back!

We have been a customer of L&M Automotive for nearly ten years and have always been very happy with the consistent high quality service we have received. We trust them working on any of our cars including an import luxury sedan, a domestic SUV and our daughters volkswagen jetta.
It's a nice feeling to know that Charlie and his team will always go out of there way to take care of you and whatever your car needs may be.

I brought my old car here to get a full tune up and fix whatever was wrong with the old car. I am always afraid that I will be ripped off by a mechanic that will tell me something is wrong when it isn’t. this was not the place. I got great service and a good price for what I gave them just as i did with the other places i went to around this area. These small auto repair centers give good service for a great price and are 110% legitimate.

Irvine Suzuki is a great car dealer with a very small dealer feel. They know how to treat their customer and how to actually answer questions about the cars. We were able to take a test drive in a Grand Vitara with their new sales manager... and despite the fact that she was only 3 days old on the job, she was able to answer every question we had and take us on a great test drive. I've been a Hergesheimer customer, off and on (as I've owned Porsches through the years) for over 25 years, and have had nothing but great experiences. Mark has always been clear about what work is required and what the cost will be, and I have found the service time to (almost always) be as promised.
One thing that may be mis-interpreted is that Mark will NOT allow his techs to do a 'halfway' job - and this sometimes get interpreted by some (ahem) "do it on the cheap" customers as over-priced. Get a quote from Mark, then one from a dealer and compare sometime. : )
Mark does do race car prep and service work (it's his hobby and passion) but the shop focus appears to be on street car service and repair work. I always enjoy looking at the race cars in the shop (and wishing they were in my garage!)..
Not the cheapest, but one of the best shops in my experience. I'll go back if and when I buy another P-car.

Pros: Can fix anything on a Porsche, top-notch work, cool cars in the shop to look at
Cons: Not the cheapest shop (but fairly priced), a bit out of the way (for central/north OC)

I have a bit of an odd ball car (Triumph TR6) and team there did a great job with it. It drives like new now. And, despite it taking much more time than the team initially expected (due to to some issues with the car - not their estimate), there wasn't any up-charge. All in all a great experience.
Pros: Can do attitude, good communication, exactly the $ promised
